Gosh LG - you have been busy.

We've only done the 2nd third and have had enough. Its the ceiling that does us in. Think we are having tomorrow off and will go food shopping and have lunch out instead. We *have* to finish off as there is a rather nasty tide-mark on the ceiling!! We inherited a sander-mouse from Eldest. Great on flat things, but fiddly for the frames.........and they make such a mess.

You have very selfish people working with you Maz - most people appreciate overtime, but its not right to gang up on and squeeze someone out to get it. A sensible manager would share it out fairly/equally.

Hope the VIP visit went OK today YG.

May not be back tonight. We'll see.

Hopefully I will get the top half painted tomorrow. Then the half under the dado rail at the weekend.

Evening everyone. You are all making me feel tired with all the hard work!!

The day was ok as far as the visitors were concerned. They didn't cause us any hassle, but it was manic as far as our normal work was concerned! To top it all I was called to attend an investigation against another employee and had to make a statement. I'm really not keen on things like that, but I guess they have to be done.

Been chilling out with feet up tonight watching tv and am watching Joanna Lumley in her Greek Odyssey programme. I am rather fond of Greece with some happy memories of holidays there!!

Evening YG. I hate anything to do with whistle blowing but as you say it has to be done.
Glad the rest of the day went reasonably well and now you can chill. I am climbing my tree again asI have found some members of OH's family that were earls. Very posh ain't he ???? :-D :-D :-D

How's everything. I am sitting in the Mildura Library. Mildura is a large country town in northern Victoria. I am here on our girls's group's annual pilgrimage. Nothing religious I can assure you, just lots of eating, drinking and merry making. I have had to endure an hour play putt putt golf. No you don't wish to know about it. Enough information that I scored the highest score of our group, and therefore came last. We then had a picnic beside the Murray River and I left the mob and came into town in order to do a little sleuthing.

It is quite warm here, abot 24 or 25. Tonight we have a fancy dress dinner to attend and then tomorrow, shopping, movies, and bingo should one desire.

It is rally nice to be able to relax away from work.

By the way found out yesterday that my OH has more rellies to add to his tribe. He has another niece and possibly a nephew. More investigation going on.

OK I must away. Hope you are all OK and the weather has not yet turned to snow and ice.

Morning - and PM read. Aunty has confirmed that an address I found on the Australia phone books is for the person we've been looking for. So a public thank you to her, having taken time out from her holiday. After a round of putt-putt, she probably was glad of the break!!

Glad that YG's visit went off alright. Yep, those complaints are a nuisance, but as Maz has said, a lot of it is to do with safeguarding in the vulnerable, and in the workplace to protect the employees against bullying bosses.

PC is OK at the moment - the patient who keeps making the allegations attacked a fellow patient is in now on seclusion with 2-1 observation, so she won't be left alone with him and hence will have witnesses.

How come the Manager has overtime? I though they were normally on a flat salary? Wished we'd seen Educating Essex - working in a school has been quite an eye opener for OH, and the teachers can be as bad as the kids. ;-)

evening all it has got very dark here been dry all day have had washing out and its nearly dry so just airing it out on the radiators my heating has been on for a couple of days here so it is quite pleasant indoors its mainly on in the evenings and as i dont have a fire i just keep it on low

Our heating hasn't kicked in yet. At least we are saving on the fuel bills :-) Obviously the north/south divide.
