Living room now all washed down, thank goodness. We have to do this room next, but will wait until our muscle ache has subsided! Then we'll have to hire a steam carpet cleaner/ Who's idea was it to get a light coloured carpet? (me :-( )

Afternoon all.

I set about 'autumn' cleaning my kitchen this morning!! I am full of bright ideas lol! :-D I haven't stopped since 8.30 this morning, so decided it was time for a lunch break, albeit a little late!!

I don't mind wearing myself out today as I have a day's holiday tomorrow. The engineer is coming to look at the washer/dryer in the morning so I can either chill a bit after he has gone, or carry on with the unmentionables!! Also have Friday afternoon off this week as I have worked some overtime, so going to opticians at long last.

I was hoping to trim round the edges of the grass while the sun was out, but Steptoe is lurking again!! Perhaps I will get chance when he has gone!!

well done yg my grass is really wet here so i have given up lol
her Maj will be chuffed lol they have won again ,they were the better team today Poor A is on the playstation now thrashing his pals

Hi Maz. The grass here is too wet to cut with the mower, although it is only the edges that need doing and I was going to do it with the long handled shears just to tidy it up. I might get chance tomorrow if the weather holds.

I've just made a stew and put in the oven, so dinner is going to be late tonight!! I will keep on with the chores until my programmes start on tv :-D

i will try and do mine at some point i weed as i get around with the washing with the frost now i think it will not grow much more now

I hope it doesn't grow Maz!! Although I am not looking forward to the frosts that will keep it prevent it growing.

Managed to get the edges trimmed and have just had a short rest as my back wasbreaking! Off for a bath now, while dinner finished cooking.

Whooooooooooo. we are the champions my friends. Big celebrations in this house today. No cheers from the direction of Yidarmylass's though :-D :-D :-D.

Hi all. I have returned. Can't find my brain, haven't unpacked, and think I am supposed to be at work today.

Re the putt putt. Stupid game. They wouldn't let me pick the ball up and put it in the hole. I had to use a silly golf club type thing. If the object is to get the ball in the hole, picking ball up and placing in hole saves heaps of time. I did score one hole in one. That was the time I was so over the whole process I just took a swipe at the ball and in it went. I'll stick to underwater basket weaving for my game preference thank you.

Sorry I've interfered with your weather pattern. (No I'm not, because if it is getting colder there it must be warming up here). I think it will be in the mid 20s here today.

Well I must away and see if I can find my wardrobe and the bathroom. I don't think my productivity will be at its peak today. Too bad, I'll fake it. Catch you later.

Hi everybody, it's bright and sunny today but very cold. The dew on the wheelie bin lid was frozen when I put it out the front at about 5.30 and was just starting to melt by 9.30.

Winter is very near!!

The dress. Hmmmm I discover I was not the only bender of the rules. One other secretly confessed to wearing an archival garment from the family vault, and curiously enough I saw another's exact same gown in a dress shop window. Oh well I can't always take credit for these brilliant ideas.

I am having trouble with my gmail. Unauthorised activity. I can not access one of my accounts. Thank goodness it is only the one I use for Ancestry and GRs junk mail. I am running a virus scan a their request, to detect malware. So far it has found nothing. Oh well retrieving access to the account will keep me entertained for a while.

Must away. Did you all notice how unwonderfully Australia played against NZ in the rugby. Yep. We did too.

DET, I cannot bring myself to confront him. I haven't had any contact at all for the last eleven months and don't want to start anything off again. If I was sensible, I would just get on with what I have to do and forget that he is there. Winter is drawing in and that will hopefully halt his trips!

Well I managed to get the washer repaired this morning and spent the day finishing the unmentionables. All done now and I feel good, but kn***ered!!
