I will try again. Morning all, busy day here too as H and J's washing machine broke down on Sunday and the engineer cannot get out until tomorrow so I am a bit like the Widow Twanky. :-D.

We have put down laminate before. I take pride that I did the office all on my own and it was a joint effort to do the lounge . It is easy when you know how YG. I did not nod off last night we had visitors arrive unanounced but very welcome, once they made their way round the mess that is.

Poor little thread, abandoned to the bowels of GR on page 3!! Don't tell me you have all been sleeping again, whilst I have been working hard earning a crust!! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

YG, you could try phoning GRO and discussing how to place an order with the search parameters.

IGP says you can do it on line, giving a dob such as 01 Jan 1900 as your middle year, but no ref numbers. They then search for a max of 3 years (not sure if this is 3 years each side making a total of 7) until they find one which matches your criteria. Not sure if it will work with only the child's surname and mother's names. You'd need to ask.

Morning all - OH has taken to playing Spider Solitaire on here again Grrrr. So its impossible even to pop in and check the thread in the evening.

Hope the painting is now finished, all ready for the floor on Sunday. It can't be that long before YG goes swanning off to the lap of luxury and warmer climes :-).

No you don't!! Kicking your butt off the throne for 15 minutes, before I go to see little gd, as it was her birthday yesterday.

The replacement killer queen is here. Up early this morning, too much sleep last night. Quite cold and damp. Have a busy day of the unmentionable and need to sort out my office desk which is sitting in a plastic container in the back of my car.

It is amazing how quickly a house can turn into a dump if one does not put things away and tidy up. Washing is on and ...... well that's a start.

Have you noticed the change between upgrade and my account on the green bar above. It has changed from 50 credits to 80 credits. That 30 credits is our reward for being patient with GR while they sort out problems. It does appear we have to buy the 50 credits in order to access the gifted 30.

I think they should close the site while doing repairs, obviously many other GRers don't agree. At least we would know something exciting!!! was about to happen.

I have promised myself I will get back to the rellie search next week. This week I have being putting myself on Facebook. I can't find one good reason for having done so. I think I need to expand my parameters from family to public and see what happens!!!

Been chasing lovely London Bap and Marriages; a successful day! :-D One of the wives died aged 110y 29d and is ranked 148 in the oldest UK people. She probably outlived their children which is quite sad.

Aunty- Why on earth bring home the contents of the office desk? Or is it all personal stuff - the spare pair of shoes, or tights etc etc. If you managed to get messy at home while OH is away.....................you can't blame him! LOL

Your weather is certainly up and down. Bet you can't wait for Summer proper.

I've got 30 credits showing. I wonder why some have +50 even though they have to buy them.

Cleaned the house today, did the shopping, put that away, did the washing hung that out and it rained. Started work on the work work, and yes it does have to be done. Better to do it at home at least I can work how I wish. Anyway.......

Feeding time at the zoo. Spot the STT whinged so Auntie left what she was doing and fed him. Noticed it looked like another shower of rain, put Spot's bowl down and took clothes off the line.

Went back into the study and remembered I hadn't put the dog feeding things away. Back into the kitchen and I spots Spot in the lounge room surrounded by the remnants of a plastic bag. Fair ripping into it is our great fat STT. Aunty politely asks Spot what he is doing and gets the canine equivalent of the middle finger.

Aunty looks over to the kitchen cupboard and realises she has left the door open. Silly Aunty.

Spot has removed a new bag of Smacko's treats from the pantry. Well they were opened earlier this morning. It was a 500 gram bag. Judging by the empty packaging and the gleam in his eye, Spot has eaten one 250gram packet of Smackos, and a couple of strips from the second bag.

Bad dog Spot. Aunty had to wrestle the remaining goodies out of his mouth. Now how do you tell a sabre-toothed tiger he has eaten his quota of treats for the next week at least.

Wait till OH gets home. Boy, am I going to be in strife!!!

Not a good day than? :-D

Go buy another bag of treats and hide the evidence. OH will never know!

Morning all - murky today, very autumnal. Not sure what we are up to, although I did suggest a walk which has fallen on deaf ears. OH is watch the Indian GP time trials which ought to keep him occupied for a couple of hours.

Morning, just a flying visit, off out to view some carpet for the landing and hopefully find some lampshades the bare bulbs are driving me potty. Must away and finish getting ready.

Oh naughty spot, don't give him sympathy if he gets stomach ache :-D :-D :-D.
