Perhaps they've been transcribed incorrectly, or another couple of the waifs and strays your family seemed to like collecting under their wing.

Hi Everyone. Good to see you are enjoying your new work Maz. I have an attack of the guilts because I haven't been doing any FH for a while. Well not seriously. On top of that I need to go through the photograph albums again and put back all the photos I pulled out for one reason or another.

I have just finished eating a bowl of freshly picked strawberries, with a banana and yoghurt. Oh yum! Still haven't broken my diet rules but there does not seem to be too much weight melting off my old bones.

All the family are back home from their overseas excursions. Blondie had a few health problems overseas. She caught a bad cold and then suffered from dehydration because she wouldn't drink the water. No not even bottled water. Drinks rainwater at home. I could have suggested she took a tank of it with her but....... I didn't think of it. Still they enjoyed themselves.

It was warm this afternoon and warmer tomorrow. I am now in short sleeves and sandals. Ohhh yes!! Summer is almost here. Don't worry I will be whingeing about the heat in a couple of weeks time.

Well I have some, w..... oh never mind, you will only growl. I have something delightful to do which is going to keep me occupied for at least an hour.

I'll tell you what for conversations these boards beat facebook hands down. Facebook is very boring, and that is the opinion from one who has been "on it" for almost two weeks.

I'm not on Facebook so I can't comment on it. The rest of my family are on it but I don't seem to have enough time to get onto here........... so not much point joining anything else. Besides.......... I spend enough time stuck in front of my computer when I'm doing my tree.

Been coming on a bundle with the tree lately!! The excess flab around my middle is proof of the hours I spend hunched over the computer.

YG, have you thought about electrolysis for those white chin hairs? Mind you........... you'd have to trim them a little bit first I think. :-) :-)

Morning all - a late start today and we are still waiting in for a non appearing Ebay item :-| :-| :-| :-| Suspicions are now falling on the side of a scam so if it doesn't turn up today, the seller will be reported and his account frozen. It took him 10 days to (allegedly) get the packing together and take it to the PO, another 3 days to give us a tracking number which doesn't work. Even if he posted it on Mon instead of Sat, as he said it was a 48 hour postal service, it ought to be here by now. :-|

UPDATE @ 1328
OH has phoned Parcel Force/Royal Mail, 2 separate organisations under the same umbrella. He now has the correct tracking number, and they (PF/RM) have found the parcel. Its still at the PO where it was put into the system!!! PF have instigated collection from there as the PO hadn't, and it should be with us Sat or more likely Mon. Talk about a catalogue of errors

Glad to hear that the offspring have returned safely and not fallen out of the sky. See? You worry needlessly! Mind you, I do insist that ours give us the flight details, just in case. We picked a couple of strawberries this week as well :-P Unfortunately, the slugs had taken a nibble first.

Had a bit of a bad experience trying the contact lenses and finished up having to have one eyelid inverted to look for it. It wasnt there. We eventually found it on a box of tissues in the opticians. My left eye is really sore as I made several attempts to remove the contact lens in front of the assistant, when there wasn't even one in my eye!!

Sorry YG I had to laugh. Your poor eye. Can't help thinking the assistant might have been more helpful and sat you in a chair and looked for you.

Lovely warm to hot day here today the days are getting longer so it was daylight arond 6.15 am. I am trying not to look at my table behind me. I have the remnants of last nights work work to tidy up. Paperwork for next Monday's meeting. Well at least I finished it.

I now have a couple of A... hints I need to follow up. Mainly people searching the same names as I am. By the way DET that Cantor connection. She sent a message to say that family was not in her immediate family, she did not know anything about them, and was not researching them at this time, and had nothing to offer. So that ends that possibility. Interesting that Ancestry came up with the link to her tree.

I have a death For Molly gallop now foned hastings cemetery and very helpful they rae too so i e-mailed them got a prompt reply so i know she existed cos she is in a grave ith her grandmother .But still no birth or baptism .Her Brother according to mum died in Portsmouth again a blank .search .So now i am on a suspected cover up lol .

Poor YG - Hope your eye is feeling a bit better now. After your experience, perhaps I'll give contact lenses a miss. Eldest's OH has been suggesting eye laser treatment as you can get that done on the high street now, but I've heard mixed views about that.

Glad you are making progress with the rellies Maz - you do have problems with that family! Hope you have a good, relaxing time with Frog; it takes a while to readjust your life once you start shift work - weekends seem to go out the window, but at least you are able to sync seeing him during the week.

Was that Belinda B, Aunty? I heard from her as well - she said that she thinks her Hannah Cantor was the sister of my Saul/Charles Cohen/Cantor, but hasn't said if she has the MC. I suspect that she only has an Australian DC which named them as such. She also reckons that most of the names that far back were accepted hints from mine and another tree. At least she is honest.

Warmer, here today, about 32 degrees. My whole life has brightened. Actually it is a little boring with no footy to watch. And no I will not be defecting to the round ball game. I'll wait till our season starts, next March. When does that peppermint stick team play again. We actually have the game live on TV.

We are arranging visits for OHs new rellies after Christmas. Still have more sorting out of information to do. I have been promised some certificates so I can include their data on the family tree.
