Last day at work tomorrow, thank goodness. The newest recruit to the team put her notice in this afternoon and leaves at Christmas. If they take the normal time to find someone else, it could be March before we get a replacement, so I had better rest up well over the Christmas holidays ready for the onslaught!!

We didn't do anything!! She hated the job, hated working full time and was not pro-active. She filled a temporary part time position in HR and moved over when that ended.

A lovely person, but not suited to the environment, unfortunately!

OH has decided to have Spot's knee operated on. I have to agree with him because it is very difficult for him to move around. So Thursday morning Spot will have his Cruciate Ligament repaired (right rear STT knee).

You would do the same if you had to put up with a mournful sabre tooth tiger howling everytime you walked out of the door!!

Not 100% certain of success and the weight of the dog can be a factor, so I will say no more on that subject. I will arrange visiting times if anyone wishes to come and hold his paw or bring him get well gifts.

Pauline has send me a lovely picture of Spot enjoying a quiet beer or two, very funny!!
