Wonderful to let you know Spot came through his operation OK. Vet said the results were better than expected. We are not going to visit him because he will only want to come home with us and he can't be discharged until tomorrow morning. I have some time off work tomorrow so I can stay with him as OH has to go out for a while.

The house is very empty without him. Well he does take up lots of room!!

That's really good news Aunty - soon you'll be having a doleful looking Spot limping around, expecting to be waited on Paw and Paw :-D Now don't be bringing any work work home with you!

By the way, does anyone know the name of the GR member who lives in the south west corner of WA. They have had very bad bush fires down there and I was wonder if he was OK. Have not seen him post for a while. Bother I hate not being able to remember names.

Edit. Hi Pauline, noticed my 1 Message sign has now disappeared from the green bar. I went back in to check my inbox and found your attachment. I'm afraid we don't allow Spot to smoke, however the featured dog in the picture is doing a good job of it. Very clever that is. Well I am not sure if it is a clever dog or a clever photographer, rather suspect the latter.

Thanks for the good wishes DET. No sign of snow forecast yet, apart from far oop norf, so should be alright. Immigration on strike next week, but fortunately not on the day that we return!

God news indeed about Spot Aunty, I have only just had chance to read the thread back properly.

Oh had to go back to the hospital yet again today with his eye. Still no definate cause of his problem but he is going back in a few weeks to have it digitally photographed to try and discover exactly what is going on.
