Morning all, good to hear YG is back on the ground again. Everything here is OK, Spot is good even though he does look so funny with his shaven hindquarter and leg.

Very cool here but we have a 30 forecast for tomorrow. We have a take away place here called The Spud Shop. You can have a baked potato with many different types of topping. Absolutely yummy, I don't know what they do to the potato but it is melt in the mouth.

Our strawberries have almost finished but the apricots are filling out very nicely. Good that OH and I will not have to ration them, one each, this year.

Morning Maz, didn't see you there, get wrapped up well today, it's going to be a cold one.

Morning all - All these festive avators which have appeared over the last couple of days! Well, what can we say? V tasteful, but perhpas a little early? The neighbours have but up their outside lights, but I think that's because their granddaughter and daughter are making a pre-Christmas visit. She is only about 18months, and 'helped' us clear the fallen leaves yesterday...one at a time! Bless :-D

PC went for an interview yesterday in London as a Volunteer on a youth offending programme. I think its part of the offender/victim reconciliation programme. As part of a small panel, she helps the offender draw up a 'contract' for their future behaviour. Although she hasn't officially heard, from the details they were giving her, it sounds as if she was a 'shoe in'. Possible travel expenses, and no pay; its something extra fro her CV.

Hope you manage to get to Beamish Maz; we are supposed to be going to Faversham beer and food festival, but OH wanted an early start and he isn't up yet.

Evening all - hope Maz didn't get blown away in the wind :-D

We made it down to Faversham, bought the wine we intended, had lots of free nibbles (that was lunch taken care of) and have slept off the beer sampling ;-)

This site seems really slow to load, tonight. Other sites are OK. :-|

Oh dear Maz I need to talk to you about that frog in a Christmas hat. He is sorely in need of a diet and exercise regime. I have noticed however, he has been cleaning his teeth regularly, what a wild smile.

Nice cool day here warming up to 27 degrees but more cool days ahead of us. Wish summer would kick in. I have had breakfast and checked my lottery ticket. Won a very small prize but it is the third in three weeks, so my numbers appear to be turning up. In very small quantities.

AuntySherlock Report 27 Nov 2011 08:31

Mulled wine, roast chestnuts and ice skating sounds so very British winter. Late afternoon here, beautiful warm sunny day with a light breeze, washing dried in no time at all so it is off the line and folded.

Have had my nose to the grindstone most of the weekend sorting out work work budgetting for next year.

OH has a new project. He is renovating a Raleigh push bike. It has been in our shed for about 30 years or so, can't exactly remember how long. He knows nothing about bicycles so it should be an interesting change from old cars.
