Morning all, Well looking at that overweight frog I know where the Xmas batch of Mushroom Rissotto I made has disappeared to ;-).

Pauline I am thinking of buying the penguine he is quite a cutey isn't he there is also a reindeer so I might buy one for each of the girls (unless I like the look of them and keep them) LOL

Quite pleasant here so far today but I shan't see too much of it as I have loads of the dreaded H*******k to do.

Morning all - Glad you had a good time at Beamish Maz, and it is getting chilly now isn't it? No, not 'that' cold RMS, but cool enough to think about wearing a hat to keep the ears warm if you are going to be ought for a while.

LG - I was surprised the little girl didn't jump in the leaves as well! Not that we would have minded. Her parents are (now settled) new age travellers/eco protesters so I think she is being taught to help in their organic veggie food production. ;-)

Congrats on the lotto win Aunty - pity it isn't enough for a world cruise so you can come and visit. Isn't your work summer break coming up soon? Hope you get the budget sorted out quickly. Don't you find that the year rolls by so much more quickly now-a-days?
Out of interest, what will OH do with the Bike once he has finished renovating it? Tie Spots lead to it to save himself having to walk? They ought to be able to cover more distance once he is on 2 wheels!!!!

The local farm shop has a 'sampling' weekend; that's lunch taken care of :-D

Re the bicycle, there is an ulterior motive, well there always is with blokes, isn't there. He is going to put it in his trailer when we take the little green car away on its annual trip. It add to the Britishness of the outfit, or something!!

Hi RMS is it really 2 degrees where you are? Strewth I'd have my bags packed and be out of there by now. You will get that horrible white snow stuff and be shivering all day.

Don't worry I have been contemplating lotto win and world cruise. Spot is not fit enough to assist in towing the canoe in your direction these days. And yes we have only about four weeks to go until the Christmas holidays.

Hellooooooooo. Just a quick peek around the door. My my what a day. :-S. I have done loads around the house, lots and lots of admin ready for the end of the term and also prepped up Xmas crafts as we only have 2 more meetings at Brownies and Rainbows.

In the middle of a thunderstorm. Heavy rain for a few minutes now it is all quiet again. Our weather is now two cool days then four warm days, makes it difficult to plan the wardrobe for the week. Like I do that all the time, not!!

I thought the site was going OK but you are correct it is very very slow to post. I have to resist the temptation to click submit again. Also having problems with my internet connection dropping out. Takes quite a while to connect to the internet and no I do not have wireless, yet.

Through a hint on A******* I contacted someone, discovered a link to my family agreed to exchange info and sent some very old family photos. Interesting response, nothing in return, despite the promise of photos from their end. More strangely my photos are now on their tree. More stranger still I can access their photos from their tree. Moral, I must learn not to give before I receive, I am so glad I only sent a few photos, and why am I so stupid!!


You will be pleased to know that Spot is responding well to his op. He is using his back leg a little, eating well and whinging everytime OH leaves the house.

That is irritating Aunty - but if you can view photos that are relevant but you *don't* have, you can download them to your computer. ;-)

In this case DET I agree and will be doing so. I also have a question about a photo of a woman who is supposed to be my grandmother, do not think it is her, but I am not about to argue the point.

Let me see "gritters" they are either the vehicles which put stuff on the roads to stop them from being slippery or the type of food which gets stuck between your teeth.

Freezing cold here this morning. If it gets any colder our teeth will be chattering out on the road as well.

We used to have snow but it all melted. Just have the dull grey clouds now. how boorring :-(
