Back again!

Poor Maz - all dressed up and no where to go. :-0 At least you can get out and about with Frog during the week.

RMS, if your heating has been on since October, why did you say you were cold? Not another household trying to save the pennies with that, hopefully? Not sure when ours came on as we don't actually turn it off. The Thermostat kicks in when the indoor air temperature drops to a certain level.

We found a wonderful aid to reducing wrinkles etc, at the Supermarket, and a lot cheaper than polyfilla. Follow the links!

Morning all, sorry RMS I was so shattered I logged off and chilled on the sofa. Brownie do was a lot of hard work but it was great. I just bought the bags and boxes in last night and dumped them on the floor so that is my first job of the day.

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 8 Dec 2011 09:51

Morning all - Sounds as you Northerners need to tie your dustbins down today, even though you are a lot further south of the really strong winds. They've reported a gust of 100 m.p.h in Ireland already!

Strangely, we had one v strong gust yesterday - it blew shut one of the fan light windows which is quite a feat.

PC wants the tree and decorations down from the loft today, although she says she's not going to put it up until Sunday. She has decided that some of the tinsel etc needs culling :-0

Morning DET it's bloomin windy here too. Just off to hang nets on the line if I can keep them there. Catch you all later as I have got to clear up before the mini gooners arrive later as they would love rifling through the boxes and bags that are laying about from last night. Have a good day one and all catch you later. <3

Has everyone got blown away!!

We caught got out at lunchitme, but luckily were at the outlet near work, so stayed in M&S until it eased off a little! We would have been soaked to the skin as well as blown off our feet. It's much calmer now thankfully.

Evening YG - glad to hear you have survived! Pity the poor people in Scotland, but somehow, severe weather is more bearable if you can see what is happening outside - your imagination doesn't go into overdrive.

All cards written, but there aren't enough stamps :-( Oh well, Post Office tomorrow then. My car has its MOT so I can do it then.

YG Report 8 Dec 2011 18:08

Evening DET. The poor people in Scotland are suffering with winds up to 160mph, breaking all records. It makes you wonder where it is all coming from. Pleased I wasn't flying back today!!

Just trying to write a few cards whilst tea is cooking, so I have made a start!!

Pressie wrapping this weekend, hopefully, then sit back and relax!

Well, it makes a change to blame the Canadians instead of the Americans, but one would have hoped it would have blown itself out by the time it had crossed the N American continent, and the Atlantic!! But then you never know - it could be part of the same weather system ;-)

Early night for me (ha, ha) after a quick wander around the boards.

Catch you tomorrow hopefully
