I'm sure you will find something suitable LG, but it is such a disappointment when you have waited so long in the first place. :-)
I would risk curling up on the throne, but I've got a feeling that you are still lurking in a corner somewhere!! I don't need another bruise on my bottie, so I am off under the duvet instead!
Last day at work tomorrow ........... yeah!!!!!!!
Will catch you around tomorrow evening after I get back from the vets.
Sleep well <3

(having visions of YG on the vets table having her tummy rubbed)
Soo sorry to heat the wardrobes haven't turned up. That is so terribly frustrating, especially as you were looking forward to having them so much.
And Maz. Oh dear. They do say that Christmas time sees an increase in 'domestics', and divorces come to that. At least you'll be out the way for the day and at least one 'overnight'.
Sweetpea is still lurking around here, I'm sure, so he can't have caused Barbra's leaky Drier. Decorations of undies festooned over the radiators aren't quite in the Christmas Spirit!
While we were out, PC discovered that the sink outflow was leaking into the cupboard. Not a lot, but enough to get her worried. Its where OH disconnected the washing machine waste to get it out. So, the hose is now reconnected and the end left in a bowl. Could be worse.
Too much full strength coffee imbibed today waiting around at the hospital so I is still buzzing; we were hanging around for 5 hours :-(

Aunty's first day off work.
Spent half an hour repairing the folding table so it would not collapse during Christmas dinner. Result of table being incorrectly folded last time it was put away. One of those two minute jobs which took half an hour. Decided to make myself a drink and I am now sitting here drinking my morning smoothie.
So what!!!
Well let’s start at the beginning. Took blender out of cupboard placed on bench. Peeled banana, placed that and half nectarine into blender. Took milk out of fridge and poured cupful or so into blender. Looked at blender and noticed ring of milk under bottom of blender on bench top. Picked up blender and remainder of milk trickled out the bottom onto benchtop, down cupboard and onto floor. Took banana and nectarine out of blender. Tipped blender upside down and did a maintenance survey. After half an hour of twisting, turning and pushing the bit what stops the milk from coming out came to conclusion that it is stuffed.
Ate the nectarine. Put banana, milk and smoothie powder into plastic shaker. That is not going to work. Took stab mixer out of cupboard. Plugged in and switched on. Poured mixture into a large glass. Looked at glass full and blender. Shook head, visions of milk and banana whizzing around kitchen. Poured mixture into jug and had another “deposits of milk on kitchen walls” think. Took very large plastic jug out of cupboard poured mixture into that. Put stab mixer into mixture and pressed button. Poured smoothie into glass.
Surveyed kitchen. One blender in pieces, one large glass, one china jug, one plastic jug, one shaker, one bowl (useless for catching milk as it fell out of the blender), one stab mixer, and a now empty glass.
OH just walked into the kitchen, I heard him say, “Holy jumping catfish!!” I have no idea what he is talking about!!

ROFLMAO!! Talk about a catalogue of errors, but then at least you realised that you didn't want to wash the walls, ceiling and floor as well as the worktop!!
Lets hope Santa can find a replacement in his north pole workshop, to put under the tree.
Must go to bed. Catch you in the morning
(PS has Sweetpea high tailed it to the land of Oz?)

Ohhh Sweetpea has burrowed into the GR vault of technology. This is the third submit. Keep getting the pretty pink error message!!

Morning all - everyone must be busy, and Aunty has found more floors to wash.
PC is busy mass baking cupcakes for the various 'gatherings' she is going to, as well as for us. She is on 'nights' for the next few days, so will probably leave me with the clearing up while she tries to alter her body clock:-(
Fresh food shopping later, having already done the 'noisy' unmentionable so as not to wake her this afternoon.

Lol, perhaps the vet could do more for me than the doctor!! He is rather tasty, and Spanish too!!
Well Aunty, what a pallaver!! I hope you enjoyed the smoothie at the end of it all. Whilst you are into diy, would you like to pop over and bleed one of my radiators for me? ;-) ;-) The bleed key that I have doesn't fit and neither do the pliers or pincers!! It wouldn't take you long!! :-D :-D :-D
Congratulations on completing the first aid course, Maz.
DET, you can send PC here if you like to make my cup cakes for me! I had cleared out all my cake making 'stuff', so had to buy a piping bag and what I thought would be one nozzle, but finished up having to buy a set of nozzles at £12.50!! Very expensive cup cakes!! I could have bought them in the mall much cheaper and saved myself a lot of trouble. :-D :-D :-D
Back from the vets and I am pleased to say that fur is still with me :-) :-) She has put weight on and started playing again and the vet is pleased with her; however, he still thinks it may be a tumour and I have to go back in 3 weeks time to see if she is progressing ok. I could have a few weeks or a few months if it is, but fingers crossed it is still just a serious dental infection.

Morning all -
Pity N is slightly disorganised :-0 If you miss the parcel, perhaps A can collect it from the sorting office tomorrow? Fingers crossed they don't try and be helpful and leave it with the neighbours from hell. Could you stick a note on the door and see it they will leave it with more trustworthy ones?
Well done with the first aid course. PC's work wanted to send her on one for giving injections. As she doesn't like needles, she refused - lol
We have the TV on a lot in the morning - they've been running a series about nuisance noise. Apparently there is a section of the council who deal with this and come out at night in response. it might be worth finding the phone number for when things get too bad. The neighbours could be fined and possibly other action taken against them.
YG must be relieved that the feline seems to be on the mend. She'll possibly get even fatter with titbits of chicken over the next few days! Ask your son if he can help with the radiators. If he is off work for the holidays, he ought to be able to make time.
BM arriving this afternoon/once his rolled out of the pub. ;-)

Thank goodness for that.
Good luck fighting the hordes. Why do people get so panicky and try to stock up for Armageddon? The shops are only shut for one day, FGS!

Oh yahoo!! Hello! Hi Ya, G'day!! I am back. Did you notice I was missing. No probably not.
Please keep Sweetpea on that side of the planet. I have been unable to connect to the internet all day. Finally telephoned IT guru about 9.30 tonight. Thank goodness I gave birth to an IT savvy child all those years ago. He talked me through connecting to my service provider through some method I've never used before and it worked. No idea what he did but it is saved in my favourites and I have the password should I need it again. Someting went skewiff with my modem/router thingy. Sweetpea guaranteed!!
Very hot here still in the high 20s even this late at night. Preparations well under way for Christmas Day. All shopping finished, food brought. And yes I too have to grin at the frantic shopping syndrome. Shops are only closed here for the day, and even then there are some which open in the afternoon.
OH took Spot to the vet yesterday. The vet is ecstatic about the progress Spot is making with his knee reconstruction. Asked about his other problems and there is nothing to worry about. Hope the kitty cat makes a good recovery as well YG.
Did I tell you I am waiting for some repatriation documents to be released about my grandfather. Received a message that this has been delayed because they need to do some restoration to some of them. I hope this means there will be lots to read. Oh yeah, with my luck it will be one page, difficult to read. Hmm not very patient am I.
Must away to bed. Although it is not going to be easy sleeping tonight.

Evening Anuty - yes we did miss you, but at this time of year, everyone goes AWOL. good luck with the military records. Father in laws (1946) were so full of abbreviations, it would have been hopeless if he wasn't able to interpret them........including the hernia operation he elected to have as he wanted to get out of PT - lol
Leave your Air Con running over night and hang the expense. You must be getting 'old' if you are complaining about the heat. :-P
You must have a very large tree if you are hoping FC is going to leave a Tumble Drier under it Barbra! may be in the NY sales? Merry Christmas if you don't come back on here.
As my parents and grandparents (and OH's grandparents) elected to be cremated, we don't have any graves to visit, if that's what the flowers were for. I bought a Poinsettia during the week, so hope the leaves don't fall off too quickly. Cut flowers got dropped off the budget a couple of years ago.
:-(
