morning all
Well my shift was uneventful so it assed OK a double shift is not too bad can be too quiet it is like being at your own home ,coffee watch TV ,house work paperwork lol
today I am off like DET says i can do four days instead of five ,i am off tomorrow i am off out to the metro centre today with Froggy attempting the new bus routes and times lol

Have a lovely day out Maz, and mind you don't get blown over. We say to PC that she would get bored ridged at work if everyone behaved themselves. Yesterday she took one person on 'community leave' on a walk down to the town, an early tea/supper and the bus back, so that took up most of the Late shift.

Decorations off the tree but need packing away. Only the lights and tree itself to do now.

Anyway, WRONG, DET. Not my little boy or the meter man, although hopefully one from the water company will be calling at some point, but that is another story!! I will keep you guessing a bit longer!! And you can rule out the naked gardener, firemen, sea captains etc etc!! Talking of which, the postcards that I wrote during the first few days of my holiday and posted on board ship have finally arrived today!!

They very kindly held onto them until they reached the Caribbean before posting them. Wasn't that good of them!! NOT!! I have only been home five weeks this weekend!!

Mmm, a book, LG!! Now I could sit and read that. Would it be juicier than Lady Chatterley!!! :-D :-D :-D

Pleased your postcards eventually arrived - bet the got put in a sack in one corner and forgotten about. After all, you did say they wanted to spend the time in port having a jolly good clean. Perhaps they fumigated the post as well???

Lovely avatar DET, I love the spring as well, it's my favourite time of year for the same reason............ all the fresh green leaves and spring bulbs.

No, I didn't have to count them all, DET!! I can't count past ten anyway!! The answer was sitting on the home page!! You can see them all in the Announcements section now, although they were on the general boards every day last week. :-D :-D

Ah, those competitions!

For some reason, I thought they were intended as an incentive to new researchers....not that I'd have bothered to enter if thought needed to be put into it. There was one about 'telling about an interesting ancestor' or summat, and I thought about the US branch, then decided they probably wanted something found via the records found on GR.

8 degrees today, snow almost all gome, and there are grass fires on the prairies and they say this is WINTER ! :-(
