Morning all. Another lovely day in paradise. Temperature wise it should stay above 25 for the next week. I have signed up for another distance walk. After the last fiasco I have chosen the lesser of two evils and will do the 5 km. I am walking that on a regular basis so it should not be any problem. Famous last words. The walk is in sight of the ocean and the beach at some ridiculously early hour in the morning.

Have been doing some reading about sugar. Yes I know, should be another banned word. However, it is worth knowing about particularly if you have trouble losing those kilos. Google "sugar bad for you" and have a read of some of the articles. Ignore those that want you to have an alternative sugar, that is just as bad if not worse. Take note that sugar is an addiction, full of empty calories, you do not need it, and it is worth cutting down or giving up your consumption.

Hmm for a balanced opinion I might google, "sugar is good for you".

Aunty jumps down off soap box. It's OK people having a chocolate dream. Don't worry I am strong, I am invincible, I love chocolate. But I am not eating it!!!

Did you know I am still waiting for my information on Mr Hill. I think I might have to email them what has it. It has now been two months since I ordered it and they said they had to re-digitise the images. I am a patient person, with chocolate. Without chocolate I am different!!!

Evening - I'll have you know I've been earning a crust, doing the laundry, clearing out and defrosting a freezer and preparing an evening meal!!!

So it's my turn to sit on the throne, especially as OH doesn't seem to have got of his all day :-| :-|

Hello Barbra. Its about time we got some decaff in........too much of the proper stuff makes me go weeeeeeeeeeeee and twirl in circles!!!

Silly o'clock for the next walk? At least you will avoid the heat of the day. You probably could do the 10k, as long as you take your time and keep hydrated.
Do you think the seasonal holiday (nod to YG) and the summer break has delayed the Hill imaging?

Hello one and all.

Well what a funny old day at work. It was like the tide, everyone came in together and then left together. Then a period of relative calm, and then the next lot came in.

I really think I would like to reverse my week. That is to say, work the weekends, and have the rest of the week off. For the same money of course.

Now you may be thinking, I wonder what that young lady does for a living. I am a farrier for seahorses don't you know. It does make me a little damp, but as long as I tuck my skirt into my bloomers, it does not get too messy. Also, I have a liberal dollop of conditioner on my hair, otherwise it sways in the water, and I cannot see.

Mind you the mermaids are a catty lot, they sit on the rocks, combing their hair all day. Some pretty girls though, strange statistics.

3/6p per pound.

Do please get some decaf, I think I may have overdone it on the caffeine.

Make stroll by this way later on, see if anyone is about.

Mermaids eh? We have a couple of water preferring cyber pets in the compound.

One's called Kenny, related to the Loch Ness Monster. There was some cross-breed a while ago, resulting in a large number of boakins.

(Think that's right. Me crib sheet got chucked in the last clear out)

MotownGal

MotownGal Report 18 Jan 2012 20:50

~~~~~~~ to DET.
Ooooh water preferring cyber pets? Are they pretty colours?
This one that is related to the Loch Ness Monster, is presumably Scottish? Does he Ken?
I don't really know if I approve of cross-breeding, they are not really accepted by either 'pure' breeds. And it is always a bind knowing which way to put their hats on.
Strolling back again, eyeing up the Big Chair.
Weren't there any cakes left in the tin? I thought we'd had a bake up in anticipaton of vistors.
LG - thought Brownies was yesterday, and that either you were glued to a footy match, or drooling over Professor Brian Cox on BBC2 :-D
