The end of an absolutely horrendous week at work!

Evening YG. I have had quite a week of it too. Glad it's over and I feel so pleased with myself today as I have caught up with my backlog of chores at last. Just finished the last one which was coquering Everest (the ironing pile) :-D. Time for us both to chill out methinks. <3

I have an early doctor's appointment tomorrow, then food shopping and the unmentionable, but it will be a quick whip round me thinks and plenty more chill time over the weekend. :-) <3

I have booked the remainder of my annual leave starting 19th March with seven working days off so it will be 12 days in total. I can't wait!!

Oh bliss YG you won't know what to do with yourself ;-) :-D. Lazy weekend for us too methinks although OH has got to put up a curtain pole in the mini gooners room. I will be quite happy sitting watching him :-D

What's so strange about being 35!! Mutter, mutter! They say you are only as old as you feel. I had a feel and I feel about 35 and a bit. Right now it is 35 and a big bit.

I was trying to think of the name of that dratted spider, the one with seven legs because Spot chewed one off. The one who guards the padded cell in which Nut Lodgers are incarcerated should they chuck hissy fits, need a rest, or need to hide from low flying broomstick borne objects.

Did I tell you we have All British Day tomorrow. Oh joy, oh glee, oh I can not wait, if there was a sarcastic yellow grub I would put it there. Boring drive up through the Adelaide Hills, to a boring oval/showgrounds, and spend all day looking at 700 boring examples of British motor vehicles. OH has decided we won't go in the green machine this year but will take the white one. This means we will be hobnobbing with the chardonnay and champagne set. I have no flaming idea what to wear, have been practising drinking my water from a tea cup with little finger raised, and absolutely detest cucumber sandwiches.

I was bemoaning the waste of my Sunday at work work yesterday. The boss suggested I take the lap top. Man definitely knows my modus operandi, don't he!!! Unfortunately that is out of the question, no internet connection. So I'm taking the walking shoes and will escape on foot, leaving OH to do his boring boy talk with the other OHs.

You will notice I have not changed my avatar. Wasted more time last night, looking. All the ones I like would get me chucked out of GR. Well I can't help it if I have a screwy sense of humour. They just don't make fairy avatars suitably dressed to suit my personna. Which gives me an idea!!

We like Eastern cars as well YG - they seem to go on for ever. Still trying to part emotionally with mine, but at least I have until June to come to terms with it.

Any fun plans for your time off YG? You could see if you could fit in a visit to Maz and Pauline.
