Hi Susan nz. The only thing a little wine is handy for is complaining to the OH, or putting in the Christmas pudding.

If I RR her post will it return the screen to its normal size. I think a time in the padded cell with Glen might be in order.

Thanks puss all is well. The killer sprout is now suitably cooked and mixed with my mash for a Bubble and Squeak lunch. The laser cooked it to perfection. :-D

Morning all - thank you Puss for going back and fixing the thread. Most for us have done something like that in the past. ;-) The problem seems to be that the originator can't see the problem; all seems fine on their screen.

So glad that others have had a senior moment about wearing the wrong glasses. I don't feel quite so stupid now. My eyesight was fine until the mid 30's, although I was long sighted so needed them for reading from that age. Apparently I have a stigma in one eye, but couldn't do the going boss-eyed exercises the Optitcian advised to try and correct it.
OH is driving me nuts with his. Before the recent visit to get the eyesight checked, he had 3 pairs on the go; Driving, close work, and reading. I'd hoped he'd reduce the numbers left around to one, the other being on his face. But no. Now there are 5 pairs scattered around the place :-|

Morning DET well you know my attitude to the game. As long it is fair and clean I will take the thrashing . May be able to make up for it when we next meet at the Emirates and save the silver we shall see :-D.

Just looking in quickly as I have a few little chores to get done before I run the littlies to nursery. It will be nice when they start the new nursery nearer their new house in March.

Shopping day for us, and probably lunch as Sains. I did the internet banking before anything else, so that's one chore ticked off.

With the new Nursery, will you still be involved with running them around, or are the hours better for H?

No as far as I know no running about at all. H lives 2 mins walk from nursery and then another 5 mins to work all along the same route. As she will have to pay a little more on the days they go due to her shift times I will be having them all Friday mornings to help with cost and also for my Nanna time which I love. Lots of craft,cooking etc. :-D :-D

H is a luck girl. What would she do without you? :-D

NOTHING ????? :-D :-D. Not really H ;-). I love having all the Grandkids and especially my little Autistic Grandson he is such a sweetie. I am just starting to collect loads of new bits and pieces into the visiting box as I call it. Stocks of the essentials are getting low or K*******d. Just bought some beautiful stick on jewels and precut shapes for a starter. I think the paints will need replacing too but have not looked closely at them yet. I bought some lovely floor jigsaw puzzles from a charity shop a couple of weeks ago. One of them was Disney princesses, now Nanna is flavour of the day :-D.

Aaaaahhhhh!!! That is so much better. Thanks for returning the site to its usual orientation, Puss. While I was waiting I had a nanna nap and now can resume my night owling. By the way the temperature here has fallen to a comfortable 28 ish today and will be 16 overnight.

This is our local soccer team. Not played very well this year, sacked their coach and reappointed a previous coach and have improved quite a bit.

I am off to a conference tomorrow, instead of work work. Well it is about work work, but it will be nice just to sit and listen instead of working. I hope (a) I can stay awake, (b) the food is nice and (c) the topics are informative and entertaining. I will need to take two pairs of glasses. One for distance and my reading/computer ones which are graded. I recently discovered I can no longer see what is on a screen at the front of a lecture room. Duh!! If I can't see the TV, it follows I can't see anything the same distance away.
