Evening all.

What a lovely afternoon it's been. I even attempted a very small bit of gardening when I came home!!! Only because my naked gardener has been busy next door and cleared all her front garden out and removed all the cypress bushes down the side of her path and cleared out the narrow border that extends on from mine. It made me feel guilty, but only for 15 mins!! :-D

Um, anyone seen Puss' Canary? Um (looks suspiciously at Persie)

As is not unusual, our outing did not go to plan. Despite the membership book saying the Castle was open 360 days a year (closed Christmas & NY) it wasn't. Phoned BM to check on the internet, and it is shut until 31 March. Really, really cross :-|

Anyway, we sat on the cliff top with our sarnies and flask of coffee, watching the ferries sailing into and out of the harbour, then went to see a Bronze Age boat c 1200 BCE. So not a completely wasted day.

Beautiful sunny day here as well, but a nightmare to drive home in with the low winter sun slap bang in your eyes. Such is life. ;-)

Morning all. Another day in the high 30s and I was again woken up with cramp in my legs. I don't think the two are actually related. However the heat might be a factor. I have discovered if I don't stretch my body when I wake up I don't get cramp. Ever tried not to stretch. I didn't realize it was such an involuntary movement.

OHs birthday tomorrow. The man is impossible to buy gifts for. Has ended up with books, after shave (from America because it is no longer sold in Oz), and a subscription to his favourite magazine. I have also replaced his sleeveless jumper (or vest) which he washed in the machine in hot water. It shrunk, didn't it!!!

I'll speak to the construction team boss about the bars on Puss's room. I thought he was putting in a "bar" as in somewhere to sit and drink alcoholic beverage. We don't need barred rooms, the force fields are strong enough to contain recalcitrant nutters or visitors.

Persie they were lovely photos. I think I will decline on the long drop. Having spent four days of each of the last 12 years utilising one of these facilities, the smell is indelibly etched on my subconscious.

OH occassionally has twitchy legs and thumps the matress...one two three, rest - one two three, rest. Its like waiting for the other shoe to drop - will he or won't he carry on?

Happy Birthday to your OH. He is sure to be grateful for what ever he receives. Next year, how about a part for one of the vehicles??
It's father-in-laws 87th today, but he was too busy to see us. We are going over there tomorrow with a shirt (and its receipt) as a gift. He's another one who can't think of anything he wants - lol

I am home it was lovely today Aunty I get cramp alot and i find its usually when i have not had enough fluids other than black coffee as now i have not worked in a kitchen for a while i dont get dehydrated as much and i dont get as many cramp sessions .
That YG is always on about naked men lol My pussie cat is a year old today lol how he has made it i will never know lol

No I did not get out in the garden but gave my sofas a really good clean and condition. Surprising how long that took.

I've delegated the settee and armchair cleaning to OH. After all, a high maintence suite was his idea.
Hope you were able to enjoy the sun Maz, and yes, you could be right about fluid and salts.

i was indoors all day today apart from travelling lol

That's a shame, especially as you've been doing a lot of walking with them. :-0
