Oh gooooodness, you should see this room. No, actually, you should not see this room. And all because for the entire week I was going to buy OH's birthday card and never got around to it. Each time I went near the shops it was always, I can do that tomorrow. Well tomorrow came and went and I didn't and now, what a mess.

This is what happens when you decide to make your own card. Chopped up bits of paper, ribbon, glued bits, unglued bits, scissors, tape, pens, practice verses. I can not see the table behind me, that is covered in wrapping paper and fiddly bits of, bits.

The end result is OK. I don't think I should leave my day job and go work for Hallmark, but my effort says happy birthday and has a cars and a dog chewing a boot on it so that'll have to do him.

Well I have two choices, tidy this lot up now, or go to bed and get up really early in the morning and ....... I think I'll be up early, the mess ain't going anywhere and there's no hou**wo** fairy likely to do it for me.

I am just about melted into a grease spot. I like heat but it is still in the high 20s late at night. Another two more hot days before we get some relief. We have the aircon going right now and it is a little cooler than I like but a lot more comfortable.

I agree with the dehydration and cramp connection. If I drink much more water I will have to carry a potty around with me. I probably don't drink enough for the amount of exercise I do but it is really difficult to put more in one end when it is trying to run out the other end, if you get my drift.

So this fairy is up, up, and away. Off to have a bit of a lurk and see who is chatting about what, and then to bed.

aunty i hope you get those cramp pains sorted oh used to get them, as he thought drinking copious amounts of coffee was the equivalent to drinking 2 litres of water :-S, if it persists id see your gp, just incase there are underlying reasons, sometimes problems in your back can cause problems in your leg, but im not qualified to say this its happened on a personal score, hope it goes and you feel better xx :-D

Its all to do with rain shadow, prevailing winds or summat - lol Glad to hear you had some dry time on your day out :-)

Put some washing on the line for the first time this year, and pleased to say it has dried. Mind you, if we were down under like wot Aunty is, it would have dried by the time the next load had been washed. Then think of the mountain of ironing we'd have to cope with :-0

I was so wet when i got into Darlo there were some women walking dogs they looked at me as my hair was dripping too I said its raining in Bishop ,Think they thought i had fallen in the beck lol
