Morning - went to bed early, so consequently woke up too early. Sometimes, you can't win! Still, since I have to be somewhere at 0900, its not too bad.

Here's hoping that Maz gets her phone line sorted quickly. They always say '3 days' when there is a line fault, which is a right pain.

STILL no one up and about? My goodness, this is a first! Been out, had a coffee and a BLT (no breakfast and little to eat yesterday) and home again. First load of washing ready to peg on the line. I'm even considering (only considering, mind) washing the car ;-)

I'm up and about and have been since 7.30am!!! Decided to get straight on with some unmentionables. It is a beautiful day, so have got the washing out! Just having a quick tea break, then a quick nip to the shops and some serious gardening whilst the sun is shining!

Sounds as though the tummy has settled down DET if you are chomping on a BLT!! Pleased to hear that you feel better :-)

Hello folks just popped in to tell you in our village Saturday we had fireman cleaning cars for charity .so had mine washed .they were big strong lads .they did a good job .lovely shine on the bonnet :-D

I have been up ages too doing unmentinables. Now sitting in the office sorting a stack of paperwork out. I am in the process of filing everything in it's proper places and found a heap of notes for the tree which I have not got a clue who they relate to :-D

Barbra, you should have told me sooner and I would have borrowed LG's supercharged broomstick to whizz over :-D :-D

I have been a busy little bee! A load of washing done, vacuuming, washing paintwork down, weeded three flower beds and cut some of the grass, cleared the tops of the kitchen cupboards ready for spring cleaning and cleaned out the sink unit cupboards and the food cupboards!

Puffing and panting, sitting with a cuppa before I have a quick bath and then cook dinner!! :-D :-D

David, sorry I don't have any foolproof remedies! I struggle enough myself, when suffering with sinus and colds.

Actually, I am tired tonight and have muscles I didn't know existed!! I need to keep at it through the week, I'm afraid, as holidays are the only chance I have to do some serious cleaning!! But at least I can take a break when I feel like it!! :-D

got a day planned with mum tomorrow, have a nice look round the pound shop, and a cuppa somewhere xx :-D

David – get thee to the Quack! In the meantime, you could try inhaling steam, possibly with Friars Balsam or Vick, but its best if the GP has look in case you need antibiotics or something.

YG, are you sure you haven’t been giving Maz a hand? All that work sounds like the sort of thing she’d do – lol.

I’ve been taking a leaf out of Puss’ book, and persuaded OH to ‘help’ me wash my car in preparation of trying to sell it. I just knew he’d end up taking over. ;-)


Are we going to get a look at the new YG (edit LG, but one of YG after her exertions would be a laugh ) after her hair do? After all, you do have to take a photo sometime :-D

lol det its good isnt, usually i buy a tin of paint as ask a stupid question like "do i have to add water or stir it " he never fails to take the brush and paint, sad though he gets in a mess and i dont :-D

FIL used to put VICKS in very hot basin full of water,lean over and drape a towel over his head and inhale the vapours.
My Father would cough it up and spit it out.
Mine not budging.
