Snap, Maz!! I've just put pork in to roast!! As everyone will have been to yours to fill up, perhaps I can stuff myself silly!! But there is still an open invitation in case anyone is still hungry!!

I've been very busy and it is rest time now.

Ironing on the agenda for tomorrow as they have forecast rain. What a surprise!! It has been very pleasant today, though, and have even managed to get out and do some gardening! :-D :-D

Now, now Derek. Don't try to lead the lady astray ;-)

That was a scrummy roast pork Maz. And the crackling? Fabulous! - You can rarely buy pork that crackles in the supermarkets now-a-days. ;-)

Hope the hedgehog can be released back into the wild. They can certainly get a move on when they want to, can't they?

I am conducting an experiment - how long will it take the other household residents to decide some cleaning needs to be done. I rather expect I'll cave in before they lift a finger :-0

I'm awake! Which is more than can be said about other household members :-| If we are going to do any more with the paving today, someone of the male gender needs to get a shift on.

badger Report 7 May 2012 13:23

Seems as though some males on this thread could do with an injection of Fred blood ,he he ,me was out the front at 6 am getting some water with feed in onto the front lawn ,to get it brightened up a little.
Think after a lifetime of getting up for work at five am ,i can't break the habit :-) ,wonder if injections at £5 a shot would augment my pension ,lol,any takers?
Hope you get the paving finished okay D E T ,it had me knackered .laying four small slab midweek to put my new water butt the other side of the greenhouse door ,so i have two now ,90 gallons of rainwater for my seedlings will be very handy in the water shortages. :-D

YG Report 7 May 2012 17:21

Evening everyone.

I hope you managed to stir your OH into doing something DET!!

You have been busy again, Maz, putting me to shame! :-D I've had a lazy day today, apart from some ironing.

Where, or where, is Aunty hiding? Has she fallen out with us?

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 7 May 2012 18:33

You all make us feel positively lazy. Well, we are really.

Since OH was nicked named by my parents 'Horizontal Champion' for staying in bed for as long as he can, there is no changing him now.

No, the paving didn't get laid; he realised we hadn't bought enough sand so it will have to wait until Pensioners Wednesday at B&Q. It would have been better to have ordered a metre bag, but its too late now.

Back to do battle with holiday website :-( :-(
