We have the sun, and it ought to be dry for the next 3 days He, he :-D

As longs as the grass dries out, my task will be to encourge OH to get behind the mower and push it :-D

Hope Maz finds somewhere pleasant for a trip today, you gad about town.

Well done, LG!! That is a job I detest doing!! I haven't bothered to plant anything this year, as the energy levels are very low :-(

Lovely and sunny now, although a little breezy, but good days forecast for tomorrow, Sunday & Monday.

Might get some grass cutting done!

Why do you hate planting up plants? its wonderful getting back in touch with nature in a refined manner ;-)

No gardening in the end today..................but we have at last booked a holiday
I gave up struggling to do it by ourselves so dragged OH in to the village independent agency and wouldn't let him leave until we had sorted it out. Seven nights in Cephallonia 2nd week of September
:-D :-D

Evening we have been doing cultural stuff today .we went to the Glass centre in Sunderland
then had a cream tea in Durham on the way back we have managed to dodge a few heavy showers ,I enjoyed the glass centre very good its built to look like the bow of a ship and when you walk on the roof which is glass it feels that ypu are the bow of the ship as it overlooks the River Wear .

Well, the sun is streaming in through the windows, and its warm indoors :-D

Glad you had a good day out the other day - a glass museum sounds quite interesting. Hope you avoided the gift shop - more glass nick-nacks for the moggies to knockover??

Has everyone been busy today!!

I have cut the grass at the back and done all the edging and done part of the side of the bungalow. Weeded a border and put some bedding plants in, vacummed and done the food shopping!!

I am going to have half an hour's relaxation before cooking tea, then feet up tonight!

It has been a lovely day with constant sunshine. Is that summer over :-D :-D :-D

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 12 May 2012 20:09

My, you have been busy.

I've washed the downstairs nets (reminds self to get them in from the line)
Watched OH cut both lawns
Planted out the runner beans, and potted on 2 of the larger tomato plants.
Looked at the weeds in the borders, and decided to leave that for another day!

YG

YG Report 12 May 2012 22:06

I don't blame you for leaving them, DET!! I had to give up, but am hoping to finish it tomorrow, although a pile of ironing is waiting as well!!

At least I am learning to give up when I've had enough!!
