Sorry to hear you've had a bug Maz - your turn to be waited on by A. don't go back to work unless you are 100% or else you'll either pass it on, or have a relapse. Fingers crossed you are entitiled to sickness pay from them by now.

Evening LG I have been sitting with my feet up all evening!! Needed it after a hard day. :-P :-P :-P

I'm spending so much time looking at the screen at work that I am having to rest me eyes in the evening as they are playing up again a bit.

I was up at 5.30 this morning, so am off to make a cuppa, then bed! :-D

You will be claiming the title again tonight, but I'll get you one of these nights when I'm on holiday :-D :-D

Morning all - a visitation by the inlaws is on the cards for today - they need to give their car a good run. They are taking us out for lunch, so no need to cater :-D

The quicker OH gets his circuit designed and coding written, the sooner i get 'my' PC back :-|

Gutted, cos I've phoned the council to find about my decent homes programme and they are doing the central heating later this year, but the kitchen and bathroom won't be done until 2014! That leaves me with a dilemma now, as I will have to decorate twice!! :-P :-P :-P

Oh not good YG. I wish the housing association would replace our downstairs loo. They have done the kitchen and the bathroom but the loo downstairs is horrible.

No, not good really. I ampleased about the heating, but just wish they would do the electrics at the same time. I could get the lounge, two halls and the bedroom all decorated and finished otherwise. I am going to have to repaper in the lounge anyway by the time they have done the heating because they will be taking out the gas fire and putting in an electric one which is a different size.

I will have to wait for the new survey to be done and find out whether they will be putting new sockets in the bedroom and lounge. If not, I can get on with it and might ask an electrician to come in an add a couple of sockets in the bedroom.

I might get some more of my decorating done one of these days :-D. Got all the stuff just not the inclination. Talking of inclination , best get some and go and get changed ready for WW. Catch you later when I have seen the news from the scales :-S

That's a bit of a downer YG, not having everything done in the same year. But at least you ought to be snug and cosy this coming winter. Is it their descision to put in an electric fire, or yours? Although we don't use it much, we like to have our gas fire so that we can heat at least one room if there is power cut.

When were they planning on surveying the electrics? Could they come out and talk to you about it so you can make a descision about putting in extra sockets for yourself? In the meantime, you could always have a 'feature' painted wall where the fire is :-D
