OH's turn to get and go early-for-us this morning. That means I have the PC for at least a couple of hours! Pity no one is around to chat.

the office was harder than support work I stood and did the photocopying but i enjoyed the atmosphere it would do us all good to do a shift at the office sometimes .
well my first sleep shift tonight so begin at 2 today until 4 tomorrow afternoon we do get sleep and our time off is 10 til 8 overnight but with the phones .and alarms .
it is wet here but the sun is trying to get through so my washing will be hung indoors .

Have you been talking to my OH? He keeps threatening to buy ear plugs - lol

Not only should support staff spend time in the office, but also office staff should spend time with the clients!

Hope they are all tucked up asleep by 10, although that is a little early for an adult. Will you be the only employee on site, or the back up for someone doing waking nights?

PC says that when she is doing a night shift, the staff take it in turns to snuggle down in the comfy chairs LOL

no waking night son our scheme lol ,
they are in the flats or out a few are very independent and the support hours vary from client to client ,I have the on call manager who is always mobile also the on call social services and police .
two of our folk are on an alarm system which is in the sleep room .as long as they dont set the fire alarms off lol i will be ok I dont have posh PJs lol

Hellooooooooooooo all.Peaceful here again now ;-). Mini Gooners delivered home to Mummy albeit all sticky and glittery. We had a lovely time making crowns and sticky sparkley pictures :-D.

Now you'll be complaining about glitter in the carpet - lol Hope you all had a good, if tiring time.

I'm not sure about the fire, DET. There may be a choice of both fuels. I have a gas fire at the moment, but only use it in emergencies.

The council won't come to talk to me, but I am hoping to find out about the wiring when the surveyor comes. I am sure that there was an announcement in the papers when they lost some of the funding, that the heating and electrics would both be done in phase 1. It seems ludicrous if not. I will just have to be patient now until they contact me to choose the fire.
