I have saved that thread ready to sort with her. It will be after the weekend as we have the stall to do tomorrow then Tuesday I intend to do absolutely zilch :-D.
We are using Travelodge for the second part of our holiday. We got a good bargain price perbooking and it suits us well as we are out all day everyday and only return to collapse in front of the tv / laptop and sleep

I'm awake!!

Well, I was up at 6ish to see to fur, so made a cup of tea and back to bed with a cuppa and my book. Then decided to have breakfast in bed so went back with toast and tea!! Fell asleep again till 9.20, so not a bad lay-in.

It hasn't stopped raining, although it seems to be trying to brighten up a little. Tomorrow reasonable, but then rain and cold for the remainder of the week. :-P

You're getting as bad as my OH, but then you do have an excuse with working odd hours :-)

I only managed to prise him out of bed less than an hour ago :-| He's mooching around looking out of the windows, but can't decide where to go or what to do. Men!

It is cold, wet and miserable here, so I am putting feet up and watching the celebrations on the tv. Might see the family!!! Might not!!!

Weren't they away? Or are they back later?

Or you could go jump in puddles as per yesterday's suggestion - lol

Yes, they are in London watching the pageant, as the littlie is crazy about Kate Middleton! Not a hope of spotting them amongst the crowds, but you never know!!

They walked to Westminster Bridge, but it was packed, so they went back to the hotel and watched it all from the club lounge overlooking Blackfriars Bridge. The littlie managed to see Kate so she is floating on air at the moment! :-D

That's brilliant YG - its an event that both the girls will remember (and bore the undies of their own grandchildren) in years to come :-D

(rummages under the stairs) We must have a spare waterproof hat and mackintosh somewhere!

At least the rain has stopped, although we have had a quick shower. There is some blue sky and sunshine though. Not for long, I fear, as the forecast for the remainder of the week is not good. :-P

Must tackle a pile of ironing this morning, so off to warm up the iron! :-D

Ironing done!! I'm off to the shops to get ingredients to make some date and orange scones!! Might share them with next door if they turn out alright.

Going to sit glued to the concert on tv this evening, so need something to munch on (but not too many!!)
