Afternoon all

Maz, its not me wots got the lurgy, it's PC. At least she stopped throwing up 6 hours after she started, although any liquid she has still goes straight through :-(

Despite using hand gel, disinfectants etc, it wouldn't suprise me if we do go down with it.

Next door wanted us to go in and meet their brand new baby tomorrow, but we daren't risk it in case we are incubating. Such is life.

Oh dear DET. The problem with that virus is it spreads very easily no matter how careful you are. Best keep well away from the little one as it hits the Young and the Elderly worst of all. I steer clear of H if they have any cases of it at the nursing home and she takes extra extra care because of the Mini Gooners

DET, that sounds terrible, hope it doesn't last more than a few days. All you can do is try to be careful and hope the rest of the family don't come down with it.

I've been glued to the box again watching the French Open. Looks like Paris is having similar weather to us. The matches have been stopped a few times because of the rain.

Hi Pauline, nice to see you. I have spent nearly all day in the office and now chilling out doing a bit of work up my tree.

YG Report 6 Jun 2012 18:36

You stuck up that tree again, LG!!

Hi, Pauline, pleased you are posting again. Hopefully a sign that you are feeling much better.

Maz, have you disappeared off to work again?

DET, pleased to hear that PC has stopped being sick. It will take her a few days to recover properly. I really hope the remainder of the family don't go down with it. You are very wise to opt out of visiting the baby tomorrow, but what a disappointment.

Morning all.

She is going to try a bit of toast this morning, not having eaten since about lunch time on Tuesday; she is wondering if the gurgling sound is hunger rather than 'bug'. She is supposed to be going to a gig tomorrow, with a friend coming up from Bristol and staying overnight.

Heaven knows how they are coping at her work. The staff and patients are dropping like flies. :-(

I'm supposed to be having a minor cosmetic proceedure at the GP's tomorrow, arranged 4 months ago. Fingers crossed it doesn't effect me before then or it will be another 4 months wait.
And then there is a heavy schedule at work the following week, which if both of us are affected is going to cause cover problems. I'm a glass half empty sort of person - lol

That's very kind of you YG but we don't need any more rain. It's been trying to rain here all afternoon but so far it's managed to hold off.

I went into Sunderland today and struggled to get back home in time because the roads were being blocked off for the concert tonight at the Stadium of Light.

Edit: Forgot to say it's Coldplay at the concert.
