Morning all - up early today after laying awake listening to various body rumblings. Since nerves affect me in that way, I'm hoping that is all it is.

V windy here; just waiting for the plastic greenhouse to blow over. The In-laws are off on Hollibobs to Devon with Sis-in-law as company. Who'd have thought that early to mid June would have such lousy weather?

I just thought I would come across the drawbridge and say my goodbyes..

The place is looking good and when you lot have some decent summer weather you will be able to barbecue your own fresh smoked venison steaks... on that deck.. and have loads of fresh eggs from the hen house.

The fruit trees are all planted and come next year you should be eating lush ripe nectarines and peaches..

I am leaving GR on 12th June.. but I will have the odd peak now and then..

Take care all and I can always get DET or Auntie to pass on my good wishes to you lot from time to time..

Thank you for all the hard work you have done on the renos, and stocking the Estate. Just as well the Virtual Lodge has a Virtual micro-climate or we'd never be able to grow decent lush nectarines and peaches. :-D

I'm pleased you mentioned the virtual micro-climate, DET, because we don't stand a chance of a summer in the real world! Heard on tv last night that there is going to be more wet than dry this summer :-P :-P :-P

Thanks for everything you have done, Persie. We will toil on and complete the refurbs in between oggling firemen, cooking mole stew and pink custard and sleeping on the sofa!! :-D :-D

As no-one has posted since 8.33 this morning I think everyone must be asleep now too :-D Perhaps LG is still busy with the firemen :-P
