morning all ,
I am late shift today ,I was supposed to go shopping last night but when i got home i was introduced to A and his new girlfriend and a very cute 13 week old little boy not A's I hasten to add however he was doing very well with him .they had been to get A now phone upgrade and GF is good on PC so hence the visit lol
So I trust A knows his own mind and is not rushing head on again though this one seems the most normal of them all

'A' sounds as bad as PC at picking out unsuitable potential life partners, but at least they are a bit more mature now. He must like her a lot to bring her home to meet Mum. Mind you, as a parent, we do tend to think that no one is 'good enough' for our offspring.

If things do develop between them, I'm sure he will be a good father to a step-son. XX

Up early again, but if you count the hour asleep in the chair last night, I've had my 8 hours :-D
OH had settled on a repeat of Poirot, so its just as well I remembered the story line - lol

morning its very warm here but i dont trust all the washing out so i am using indoors and out today lol most of it dried yesterday amid heavy showers A did hang some out then brought it in and hung it on an airer was it to show off lol I wonder
He has a good head on him now this one seems to share his interests as in goes to church etc and they all mix together in a group so we will see

At least it saved being moaned at by his Mum :-)

I've just put some out, but may have to take them back in again later. We can but try.

I have been up and about since around 7.15, so not being lazy!! Done the ironing and now have to start getting ready to visit dil!!

I hope A settles down this time, Maz. You could become an instant step-grandma!!!

I am running a bit late, as my friend has just sent me a text to let me know that her daughter has given birth this morning, five weeks early!!! A boy, 4lb 2oz delivered by section. She isn't back from theatre yet, so my friend is waiting impatiently to make sure they are both ok. She miscarried last year at 14 weeks, so I hope everything will be alright for her. It is a reasonable weight, so fingers crossed.

Must dash and get ready, or I will be late for the appointment!!! :-D :-D

Although the new arrival may have to stay in hospital for a bit, fingers crossed that they will both make a full recovery

well its been raining on and off here today but the washing is still out as there is nowhere for it so will leave it til i finish tonight

You should have been here, Maz, it has been lovely all day. Even sat out for a short while having lunch and getting some sun!! I have been a busy bee though. I have almost finished all the weeding, just a bit to do through the week if the weather holds when I get home from work.

Dil was very pleasant today. I even got a kiss for her pressies!

There was trouble at the mill, though, just before I arrived, as the eldest knocked her laptop of the bed and smashed the screen. Son said he had only just come down from another planet!!! I can imagine, and it wouldn't have been a pretty sight!! It was an accident though, as she tripped over the cable, but she can be very careless and has already broken a couple of mobiles. That's teenagers for you!! :-D :-D

Lol - you have been busy, and no doubt everyone calmed down in a hurry when Granny arrived.

You've been lucky with the weather. I gave a big groan; OH asked if it was a Geneologists cry of anquish. Nope, a housewife who hadn't realised it was raining, and the nearly dry washing was still on the line :-(

Still, we managed to go for a walk while it was dry, with the local pub as a midway destination - its one way of dragging OH out for a bit :-D

Evening all, my what busy bees you all have been. I have done loads of unmentionable today and just finished the dishes and collapsed on sofa with nice cup of coffee.

We have been busy and all deserve a sit down!! Although I haven't cleared up my dirty dishes yet! Must go and do it and make a cuppa while I'm in the kitchen! :-D :-D

Good morning all!

Is it just LG and me this morning, or is Maz lurking while doing her chores? Its easy to lose track of shift workers.

The heavy band of rain ( and flood warnings) seem to have passed over us during the night, but LG may still be swamped during the day while we are left on the persistant edges.

Morning DET. It is very wet here :-|. and I have to go out in it very soon :-P :-P

Wear your gum boots, waterproofs and brolly - and pack the rubber dingy and paddles just in case ;-)

morning it is just damp and warm here got a back log of washing so its annoying and its my only day off this week
