Now that you are home Maz, time to take it easy. The dreaded can take care of itself. Wasn't it Quintin Crisp or some one say that after a couple of years, the dust layer doesn't get any thicker???

Hope the BBQ went well YG and you enjoyed yourself despite the enforced attendance.

We went out for the afternoon to Rochester, mooched around the town, climbed all over the Castle and walked along the River side. Had a good chat (as you do) with a slightly older couple from Dundee, the husband being involved with the first designs for ATMs. They could only handle used bank notes until they incorporated a device to blow air on to the bank new notes to seperate them. OH was in his element talking about their various engineering ventures. Its a funny old world. ;-)

We had a lovely barbecue, but it was hard work doing all the prep (that I wasn't supposed to be doing, but as soon as I walked in my line manager had instructions ready!)

That sounds interesting about the ATMs DET.

LG & I aren't plotting anything!! She sent me a brilliant pic of a meerkat dressed as a firefighter. Set my heart pounding again!

lol ok ,I came home so wound up after last nites antics and visitors .I needed to do something I am off now for two days so i can hopefully have a lie in in the morning lol

I'm afraid I have to get up early yet again tomorrow as a skip is being delivered. Perhaps I will be able to stay in bed longer on Wednesday!!

We've got one of those pump up things for painting the fence and several half cans of differing coloured wood preservatives? If they won't do, you'll have to wait until Pensioner's Wednesday at B&Q :-D

We got stepson to do it :-D. If Oh had done it the language would have been apaulling ;-).

I am a pensioner now so off to shop on Wednesdays :-D

OH says it is Over 60's day, as he is NOT a pensioner and threatens to thump me :-D
(Actually he is a pensioner, but not from the DHSS point of view, and he would never lay a hand on me ;-) )

Nothing special at all. Oh has his birthday the day after mine and we just don't make a fuss at all. Mini Gooners made us a cake though and helped blow out the candles :-P. Dribble and all :-D

No doubt it was delicious all the same.
