I am attempting to switch on here but I am so tired its hard well the washing is out everything crossed it will dry i have cleaned a loo booked a weekend break and thats it lol

Soooooooooooooo, as I am the most senior of all citizens on this thread, I think it entitles me to adopt the throne room as mine, all mine!! Whooppeeeeee!!!!!!! Age before beauty and all that!!!

I need a chain and tackle to lift me off this settee. I am absolutely done in. One defining feature for me of getting old is the sudden onset of terrible back ache and I didn't feel great when I got up this morning. Anyway the worst is over for me. I have an easyish day tomorrow, free of my NG thank goodness and just Thursday to go with him laying the turf, finishing off and putting some shelves up in the shed for me.

I am spending no more, not one single penny, until I have recovered from the cost of this little excercise!!

I am off to scotland to take bessie back next week for a weekend lol just booked a late deal for two .I have not done a great deal today froggy came over to help me with some DIY my new doors needed a slight shave in places as they were a little sticky in places

I am a 'creaking gate', I think, DET!!! Or at least that's what the doctor said about my Mum!!

I have had aches and pains for a good few years, but they have suddenly galloped on and start much quicker and last longer!!! I don't have the same energy anymore either!! My mind thinks I should be able to do it!

Just waiting for the water to heat up, then a nice hot soak.

It was lovely here this morning, but the rain has set in again, although not torrential, thank goodness.

They were ever so good just noisy :-D. Fortunately the weather held so we went out onto the playing field for outdoor activities.

Oh thats a shame Maz. ,usual old story though. People quick enough to dump their kids but none willing to volunteer. I am lucky in that way as I have plenty of willing helpers.

Morning all - a busy day today - B&Q's pensioners day, then off for a duty visit to the in-laws, Bless them. All we need is for OH to stir himself from his slumber.

What ever the social-economic make-up of the area, there always seems to be the cry that 'they' should provide something for the kids, but the kids parents don't seem to want to commit in helping. Being a church group, presumably your pool of potential helpers is limited. Could your Minister talk to Ministers of other denominations in the area and see if their Congregation could help?

there is a college nearby doing childcare we may be able to offer a placement or experience to some one suitable and yes we have other churches they are struggling too
