Morning all.

DET, I am already wrinkly!!! :-D I did enjoy my hot soak though albeit that I decided to bathe immediately before bed. It helped to provide a good night's sleep, but I won't comment on my back and shoulder this morning.

I have been sitting and pottering, not doing much, but need to smarten up for my visit to B&*'s pensioner's day too. I need a couple of bags of pea gravel or similar, but they will be loading it in the car for me!!!!

I've had a quietish day, LG. I haven't been feeling good at all today, but have started to pick up a little this evening. Overdone it, I think.

I'm just off to bed to try to get some sleep, although it is very hot and sticky here this evening. I need to be up early again tomorrow as the grass is going to be laid and the last few jobs done. Down to son's tomorrow evening for his birthday, so I need to feel better!!!

I think everyone has emigrated today!!

Sister-in-law has asked for help to move 'in about 2 weeks'. 15 mins later BM rings and asks the same thing! Arggghhh!!!

Fingers crossed they don't both 'complete' on the same day :-0

I hope there can be some negotiation as well! Sis-i-l will be staying with her parents, and BM comng back to us until 'Completion' so they both want to move again as soon as they can. :-(

Cos we were getting so lazy, we made a list. That's one thing ticked off

Its turned really humid which doesn't usually effect me - today it has. Yuk.

Bloomin cheek YG I have been up and working since 6.30. Loads of dreaded to catch up with. The ironing can wait until it cools down a bit later though.

The heat is really getting at me today too DET.

its a bit wet here Newcastle is cut off at the moment ,
There has been loads of surface water but it was OK the storms are nearly over now

I think you'd better send it up here, LG, my patio is under water. Good job we have a couple of steps up to the house. We live quite high up as well, God help the people who live on lower ground.

I've never seen it like this before, we don't live in a flood area.
