Evening - we wos up then out when YG was doing her crash-bang exercise :-P

Absolutley shattered cleaning the kitchen area of BM's flat. And the exercise might be repeated next Monday when he moves into his new abode. Mind you, while we were up in Lundin, he did pop round there to measure up and says it was very clean. They've probably been doing it as they pack - thank goodness.

Welcome home Maz :-D

So pleased to hear you had a good time. You must have been dead chuffed not to have been drowning in rain. Drizzle we can cope with - a drenching down-pour is something else. Hope you didn't get bitten to death by midges. :-)

Morning Maz, A must be getting house trained at last ;-). So pleased you had a good time despite the weather. I am off to the dentist in just a few minutes :-| (more expense) :-P

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 9 Jul 2012 09:21

Morning - fingers crossed there is no major work to be done LG

Glad to hear that A is beginning to take on board your moans and has proved he can use the washing machine. OH still stands and looks at it as if it had suddenly dropped from outer space. That's probably a wrong analogue - he'd take a screw driver to it, if it was!

Mazfromnorf Report 9 Jul 2012 09:36

Hope the dentist is kind LG
speaking of expense it looks as if my chimney may need pointing as the base of the chimney breast is damp we have had so much damp over the last few months it may even be coming down the chimney itself

When was your house built? There always seems to be something needing doing.

LaGooner Report 9 Jul 2012 13:01

Boooooooooooooo I am back. Just a check up and a polish thank goodness but he does want to see me in 3 months time as there may be a problem with my crown brewing. :-| :-| :-| :-| :-P. I wonder how much that will cost, best start saving now :-(

Mazfromnorf

Mazfromnorf Report 9 Jul 2012 14:29

my house was built 1945 ish but is a lot more solid than the modern ones around here .its on a cable end that faces the penines so everthing gets thrown at it weatherwise
fingers crossed about the crown LG

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 9 Jul 2012 15:27

YG

YG Report 9 Jul 2012 17:28

Welcome back Maz. Sounds as though you had a good time. No secret vows while you were up in bonnie Scotland, were there!! We would really prefer you to tell us, so that we can dust off our fascinators!!

Ouch, LG!!! I don't like dentists and I don't like the sound of having to have crown treatment, even if your old one is rusty and dented!!! :-D :-D

DET, you can come and do my kitchen for me if you like and have some spare time. I think the radiators need a good clean behind before they start removing them! Any offers gratefully received! :-D

Good timing for us there Maz. Posting in stereo :-D

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 10 Jul 2012 00:00

In stereo you may have been, but it would seem the reception has now gorn off.

YG - keep your kitchen cleaning for yourself......we've only just about recovered from yesterday! Don't know why we bothered as the Letting Agents will probably send the 'professionals' in and withhold the cost from the lads deposit :-|
