Morning Maz, no I am afraid we left it behind :-D. Lovely and sunny here and first load is on the line almost dry already.

I'd really like to go out somewhere along the coast today to catch the off-shore breeze, but I bet the roads are packed. Anticipated temperature? 32c. Yes, that's right 32c! Phew!

If Frog is around, hope you can have a good time together Maz. You could always sort through your surplus domestic equipment and see if there is anything you can contribute to Tadpoles Uni pack. ;-)

Have you found the free book list yet? There are pages and pages of them added to frequently. There is usually something to suit different tastes. And sign up to the deal of the day, a book for 99p. Be careful though - its easy to get carried away!

DET, I have seen the free books, and downloaded a couple, although yet to start reading them.

I am just starting another novel. I seem to get through them a lot quicker on Kindle. I'm sure they must be cutting chapters out!!! :-D :-D

Just come in to cool down - even in the shade it's still sweltering. I thnk we'll be having salad again tonight!!!

It's not that hot here, DET!! It has been sunny. but turned cloudy this afternoon and there has been one light shower. The sky is lovely and blue now and it is pleasantly warm, but not hot hot!!

It's the north south thing again.

The outside thermometer is currently reading 28C in the shade, but had got up to 34C....possibly in the sun. More of the same tomorrow then it is supposed to cool down (to 24C!) during the week.

The bank holiday forecast isn't looking great at the moment, but then most of the time the BBC forecasters get it wrong for our area anyway!!!

ITS BEEN VERY OVERCAST HERE BUT VERY WARM THE FUR ARE VERY LETHARGIC ,FROGGY AND i HAVE JUST LOUNGED AROUND
sorry had the caps lock on and cant be bothered to rewrite lol .My washing has dried and i have just folded it away froggy has to go at 7.15 to get the last bus as they have axed a lot of late buses up to where he lives

YG i hope you are enjoying a restful weekend ,
Its warm here am enjoying the piece and quiet its quite nice not to have to rush around on my days off though my plans are to intoduce the hoover to the carpets later on lol

I've been around for about an hour, but have been doing a bit of research ;-)

Too bliming hot to sit in my dressing gown until OH gets up. Shock, horror - I may have to get showered and dressed before midday!

Enjoy pottering Maz, and carry on resting YG. LG has no excuse ( well, apart from swelling of the joints) to lazy around :-P <3

I must confess to staying under the duvet this morning and then had a lazy couple of hours reading.

I, too, must re-introduce the vacuum to the carpets!! They have been sadly neglected over the last week, but the end is nigh!!

That might be as far as it goes today apart from cooking dinner! Unfortunately the body still needs nourishment of sorts, so the meat, potatoes and veg will have to be attended to!! :-D :-D :-)

Afternoon all. Flaked out on the sofa now to do some more research. I had a phone call this morning from my long lost uncle that I spoke about the other week. What a truly lovely man and his wife sounds very lovely too. I am going to do a bit more research now so that I can forward on the details to them. Will be popping in and out to keep an eye on you all ;-).
