It was only Jacket Potato with Prawn mayonnaise for me and Cod and Chips for him. Good value for money, but nothing to get excited about ;-)

Hope your casserole is tasty Maz. Those slow cookers seem a good idea for people who are out all day at work. Home to a cooked hot meal.

Get the garden ready for the next year? I'm still waiting for the runner beans to set, and the tomatoes to ripen! We have been picking courgettes which is something I suppose.

I'm ok. thanks. Just having a quiet evening.

Been to the council meeting about the heating and it looks as though it is going to be around the beginning of November, although they haven't finalised the dates yet. They are starting in the next week or so, but in another area, which they think will take about two months, then they are starting where I live. It's only going to take a day to do the heating, then the electrician will call within a couple of days to finish off everything.

The workmen are usually quite quick when they get started. We had our heating done a while back and it only took 2 days to do the lot .

I am chillin too as I have no energy courtesy of this bloomin bug thing :-|

I have almost shaken mine off now, but it has been a battle. I think I was so exhausted when I finished for my holidays that it caught me when I was already low.

Knowing my luck, LG, they will turn up to do the heating a week before the unmentionable season!! :-P

There's nothing unusual there :-D. Do you remember when they did my kitchen it was 2 weeks before H and J's wedding :-|

Oh well, there won't be any visitors as I'm always at home for the main day, and then at son's the following day, so it's not really going to hurt if that happens and I don't get the decorating done! I could always spend C day with a paint brush in my hand! :-D :-D

Time for me to disappear now. Another workday tomorrow, yuk!

A lot of people have noticed the falling off of posts over the last year or so. There probably aren't the number of posters around to add to the various chat ones. Perhaps it will pick up over the winter.

Great news that your CH is going to be replaced before it gets too cold YG. The dust and upheaval will be well worth it, and your energy usage will probably decrease as well.

I put washing on the line yesterday before we went out. Then it chucked it down, stopped and I forgot to bring it in overnight...when it must have rained again. Soggy washing, but it might still dry if I keep an eye on the clouds.

Morning DET. I nearly missed you as I looked back in just before logging off to go out. Going to a very dear friend's for coffee and a catch up with all her gossip. This is a very overdue visit as we have both been really tied up over the summer.

No chance of me putting the washing on the line as it is even heavier now so into the drier for it. :-D.

evening YG and LG its chilly here I am trying my heating out its firing nicely too ,I am at the end of my time off so need to be work orientated now lol .well at 1pm tomorrow .just making tea for A and myself
