Now it would have been a good idea if you had gone to town with me yesterday lunchtime. I was killing a little time in Debs while I waited for a colleague and went a little crazy in the perfume department with all the testers!! I couldn't decipher which was which on my arms by the time I got back to work!!! :-D :-D :-D

Well, needs must and I have to retire to the bedroom!! I have my monthly review at 8am tomorrow morning. Oh joy!!

Morning all - what review is this YG? Surely Work only does it once a year? Or is it the other 'stuff' you've got going on at the GP's? If it is, once you're stabalised, it will only be once a year.

well i am back was on a course subject ,Stress and well being ,it was a good session I had a lift down to stockton then all the way home tonight as a staff member was also on the cours who lives in Bishop .
it was good gave me lots to think about just got the washing out and ironing done now am off for 5days

What will you do with yourself? :-D

DET, not a GP review, just work!! We have a review every month, then a performance review annually, with a mid term review from the annual review (if you get my drift!!!) Any time left to do any work?? Not a lot!! :-D :-D :-D :-D

As far as the other thing is concerned, I think I have to go again in a couple of months just to check that the cholesterol has come down a little more. I actually spoke to the GP yesterday about my eye appointment at the hospital and I have now decided to go private to see the consultation. I can claim it all back through my work health plan, so that's ok. I also qualify for a flu jab now :-D :-D What fun

Morning all. everything is ok here. Yesterday was Mini Gooner morning we did a load of Baking and then had a picnic lunch in the back garden. After I took them back I visited their local church which had a very interesting Historical talk on. It was supposed to last 90 mins but that turned out to be 2 hours :-0. Then by the time I got back and cleared up the debris OH was in for tea. Watched the footie and then fell asleep :-D :-D :-D :-D.

Sounds a good day LG. Nothing better than for littlies to eat the fruits of their labours :-)

Did anyone else have indoor picnics as a child when it turned out too wet for outside? The illusion was helped by our having a grass-green coloured carpet :-D

We have indoor ones here if the weather is bad. :-D. Rainbows and Brownies do too and even indoor campfire (without the real fire of course) :-D :-D.

It does seem strange that AS is incommunicado. I’d emailed her during the week to point her to a ‘thank you’ post someone had made naming her. No response at all.

Earlier she had said that she had switched her allegiance to on-line games, but it is a little concerning that she hasn’t replied. One can hope that she is experiencing a full life, and that there is nothing to worry about.

If/when she replies, I’ll pass on any news….possibly by PM.

Has anyone looked on the Friendly Thread to see if Pauline has made an appearence there???

Poor soul - hope she feels better soon. It must be so debilitating to have to live in pain/discomfort.

Oh poor Pauline, I know she is in a lot of pain, nothing worse than the back methinks as in experience with OH you can't walk,sit,stand or lay down comfortably. :-(. Please do let me know if you hear from AS . Hopefully as you say she is just busy.

I have just done my large monthly online shop. The cupboard was a bit like Old Mother Hubbard, but at least nothing will go out of date lurking at the back :-D

I have to see a consultant on Monday about my eye. Looks as though I need a surgical procedure which will keep me with head down for 5-7 days, other than going to the loo and throwing a ready meal in the microwave meal in to cook!! Would anyone like to come and stay for a few days!! My dil won't even offer to do the ready meal for me :-P :-P

Oh YG , If I was nearer I would be there in a flash. How mean of DIL. bet if she was ill she would expect you to jump to attention.
