YG Report 8 Sep 2012 21:46

Evening LG.

What can I say! She has proved herself!

Funnily enough, R called round this teatime with the littlie and dil was with them. That is the first time she has visited me in more than three years.

Richard offered straight away, but as he works away most of the week, it would only be a couple of evenings when he could come, but he still offered. Of course, dil being dil, knew all about what I am suffering from (as ever, with whatever topic!). Her mother has something similar (not really!) and the eyes drops also make her ill for a couple of days every time she has them! It's very strange that the retinopathy nurse told me that only one person in the last nine years has had a bad reaction to them Must have been her!!! :-P :-P

My time will come for retaliation!!

What a b***h. :-| :-| :-|. Bless your son what a nice guy. As you know my OH has a lot of eye problems and he to is on drops for life now. If anyone was going to react it would most certainly be him ;-). He is allergic to almost every antibiotic and pill and potion in existance.

Nite nite YG hope you sleep well and hopefully internet will behave itself tomorrow. They claim it is reported and the engineer is fixing :-|. I've heard that one before :-D

Good luck with the consultant tomorrow YG

If s/he does want to operate, there must be post-operative care available. Do ask about it while you are there. Perhaps they can arrange a home help or keep you in for a few extra days? How about contacting the RNIB or is there some sort of support group you can phone for advice?

Without knowing what other things your dil has to cope with, she sounds a proper madam. I bet your friend would pop in after work without even being asked! If you’re really, really stuck, as long as it doesn’t clash with re-sits, I might be able to sort something out. It isn’t as if we’re rushed off our feet!

Ooo – just thought. Check when the council are coming to sort out your CH!!!

Not sure what we are going to do today, if anything. We did manage to do a bit in the garden yesterday…..pulling ivy off the gable wall as one strand was almost up to the eaves. I only spotted it when I went to talk to the neighbour; we wouldn’t normally see it.

There's a walk around a neighbouring village organised by a Historical Society today. I'd like to go but not sure if OH would, or even if it will be too hot. Knowing us, we won't bother.

Good luck with the consultant YG I will be thinking of you.

The young lad who was drowned yesterday was one of my youth years ago and I fed him at the school its sad I knew nothing about it until A said about it this morning

YG

YG Report 9 Sep 2012 18:59

I heard about that on the news, Maz. Very sad that another young life is lost.

DET, thank you so much for your kind offer. I wouldn't be able to give you anywhere to sleep though, as it is only a 1-bed bungalow, unless you had a tent on the lawn :-D :-D I'm sure the girls at work will rally round and I will surely be allowed some movement!!

Am opting for a local anaesthetic as they have no chance of keeping me in :-D :-D

I have just cut the grass as the forcast is not so good it was dry from the breeze so that is a job done
