Well, Ive been and I'm back. I saw a lovely consultant, but the news wasn't good. No macular hole, so no six weeks off work and I don't need anyone to cook and clean for me! I have macular degeneration of the retina, which is definitely not good news. I have to go back within two weeks for further tests which involve injecting dye into my arm for it to circulate to the eyes, then another test of some sort, before starting treatment which involves a series of injections into the eyes. One eye has wet AMD and the other is starting with dry AMD. On top of that cataracts are starting to form, but nowhere near bad enough to consider surgery at the moment. Oh joy :-P :-P

The consultant told me not to get upset, but it's not that easy when it's your eyes, as I am sure your OH will know, LG. At least I am ok for driving at the moment and I will definitely take advantage and have full days off when I have to go for the tests and injections.

Think I'd better start training for a guide dog now :-D

busy bee i have been ,booked our tickets to go south in october ,painted the gates washed ironed ,froggy has changed an outside bulb ,and rearranged the cables to keep the fur out a bit better as they have been ploughing through the cables and not helping the internet connections lol

we lose our analogue signal tonight here I think the internet is suffering because of it

We went digital about a year ago. I don't have any problem with it, but I really struggle to receive radio signals on my digital radio, yet the old radio is absolutely fine.

we are all retuned on the TV but there is another retune needed later on as the whole thing finally switches over
Bright start here got a couple of chores and back to work tomorrow again for a few days lol

lol lol the little fur has left two headless dead mice in A's trainers ,he leaves them about and lol lol he has the presents ,but i have also had the headless birds and feathers too today ,The feathers are a pain cos the hoovers scatters them as you hoover lol

My niece's cat killed a rabbit and left it under her bed........... and he left a bloodied crow on her pillow.
