Evening - hope the water goes down soon, or else you'll both float away.

Its all very well closing hospitals, or parts of them to save money, but 'they' forget the human cost :-(
Even in the SE when there a number of hospitals in a short distance from each other, they can take quite a while to transfer from one to the other just because of the density of traffic. Even with a Blue Light, 20 minutes could be the difference between life and death.

One hospital had its A&E closed last year. The next nearest ones intake has increased by over 100% since then....and they are having to borrow more money from the government. Why is no one surprised?

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 26 Sep 2012 23:02

Sigh - not since the 19th

All those bits and bobs she was planning to do today, must have been more than she could cope with, poor thing. After all, she does qualify for her free prescriptions now ;-)

Saw pictures of Maz' local town on the TV news. It looks really bad.

Good morning Maz. Better busy than bored :-)

If it doesn't rain, I'm hoping we can do a dump run this afternoon, but who knows?

Where IS that LG? It's not like her to be awol without warning.

Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo :-D. Had quite a bit to do yesterday, thenBrownies and the aftermath of Admin it creates. Having texts nearly alll evening as H and my stepson were at the Emirates watching the match. Updating me with all the news kept me busy :-D. Shame I could not go :-(. Still one good thing it looks like we have converted Stepson from MU to a fully fledged Gooner, he thought they were great. I did get a programme and some posters though

Well off to get the washing on the line now while the sun is out, catch you all later :-D

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 27 Sep 2012 20:53

Hope you have succesfully chilled out now.....I'm so chilled I'll probably go back to watch the TV shortly.

Mind you, 2 glasses of wine does wonders for the chill factor ;-)

Morning - sorry about last night; nodded off in the armchair during one of our 'want to watch' programmes. :-( It can't have been that interesting!

Glitter and Glue morning for LG whilst YG is at the coal face and Maz is recovering from a shift.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 28 Sep 2012 08:55

Make the most of your free time. Littlie might be getting tired herself and be less amenable to suggestions. Will you have to collect eldest? Standing at the school gates will bring back memories :-D

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 28 Sep 2012 09:21

Yes I will be fetching her from school. Long time since I stood at school gates for my kids :-D. Bringing them home here for their tea then home to Daddy for bed. I seem to recall we will be making biscuits this afternoon but never know they may have changed their minds by now
