I hope the weather holds tomorrow for you if you are going to be gardening. It's not a good forecast up this way, that's why I got cracking with it today.

If it should turn wet I am sure I can find something else to do :-D

Morning all - glad to hear that TAdpole has been deposited safely. Fingers crossed he doesn't get homesick.

I'd forgotten it was one of the coco-pop weekends. Having been through it (too many years to count) we now have fun if we are out spotting the number of cars with a teenager and parent, stuffed to the gunnals, on top of which can be spotted a box of cereal thrown in at the last minute by Mum so her fledgling doesn't starve ;-)

Cross with OH. He set the alarm for 8am as we are off out later, and he has turned over and gone back to sleep. For once, I would have woken up later naturally, and we don't have to leave until much later. 10am would have been fine :-|

Morning DET. I will have to loan you the cattle goad to get him up :-D :-D. After I have used it on mine of course :-D

Ah, but yours works hard during the week, so he needs his rest!
Wouldn't have objected quite so much if he had got up when it went off.

It's dry here at the moment, but overcast. Chilling whilst I have brekkie, then off to tackle the ironing :-P

I don't have any troouble weekdays as he knows he has to be up for work, but weekends :-P :-P :-P :-P :-D. Must not complain really as he does work very hard <3 <3 <3

Its the fur that gets me up lol cos its easier to give in and go back to bed for a while lol
we are off to church shortly just got A up with a cuppa .I am looking at tumble dryers here as it appears the electric is cheaper than the heating now lol just measuring up to see if i can fit one in

Its a small price to pay really - someone to care for, and be for cared by, out of love and respect rather than duty. :-D

I have had a reasonable day, thanks. Got so far with the ironing and then decided to go to the outlet as I now need some full shoes for work. I have slopping around in toepost sandals all summer as they are better for my gammy foot, but too cold for winter.

I found shoes, and also bought some new bedding and a lamp shade for the kitchen. I was sick to death of looking at a bare bulb!! I was also able to find a bright low energy bulb >>>>> yeah!!!! There are some good ones around now, although they are expensive, but those awful dim things were driving me round the twist! :-D :-D

My word you did do well. We at last managed to find a small bookshelf we liked for the lounge, thameant we were able to empty the box of dvd's and cd's that we packed up when we last decorated the room. Had a short surprise visit from the mini Gooners and co which was very pleasant. We have now settled down to watch Downton :-D
