No, it's in the Midlands this year. They generally change the venue every year. I donn't go now as I am too old to do all the running about, but there will be plenty of prep to do for it.

You're not kidding about the year flying by. I can't believe we are already into winter. I hate it! I think I suffer from sunlight deficiency and hate the dark mornings :-D :-D

I am off to bed now. I promised myself an early night, which never really seems to happen and I am spending more time hitting the snooze button on the alarm than I have ever done! I was planning to go before 10pm, but hey ho, there's always tomorrow :-D :-D

Since I've 'done' something to my upper right arm, it was a bit uncomfortable using the PC and the mouse. Slightly better today, but may not spend so much time on the comp as normally.

Have a good one, and don't spend too long at the office YG. Book most of those days off; use them or lose them!

Poor DET rest it well and it will soon be on the mend. Loads of chores to do around town today so catch you later on I hope. Take care <3

Evening all, Just finished a local history book about or village in wartime. I could not put it down :-D. OH's dad was mentioned in it which pleased us no end.

You'll have to try batch cooking next time you fancy a lasagne - with one in the freezer, it would probably save you money.

How wonderful to read about a relative in a publication - even the 'little people' are worth recording for posterity. One of OH's owned a Beerhouse in his home town, which was worth a paragraph in a book published by the local library. F-i-L was more interested than he was :-0
