Bakiing, moi!! Non!!!! I used to do a lot but haven't really done any for a long time now, apart from buns and cup cakes for the gds at the unmentionable season!
The men obviously get spoilt at one or two places if the householders have been baking!!

I am too busy painting to bake! I have been at it all day, but just finished. I am now cooking the roast pork and hoping to relax as my back is breaking!!

Pleased to hear that your OH has found some motivation to start the stairs, DET. Not a nice job with the high wall. Hold the ladders steady for him, we don't want any accidents :-) :-)

well you need to be quick 5th nov in Lewes thats the big one ,the firemen were in the parade ,I have been busy in the garden today the wheelie bin is full lol not many more collections now this year so have to make the most of the dry weather

Hopefully my gardening is finished for the winter. Perhaps an odd bit of weeding if we have a reasonable day over the next couple of weeks.

I think the next few weekends are going to be taken up with painting and stripping wallpaper!!

Back to the grind tomorrow, so off for a reasonably early night!!

Morning all

YG, hope you managed to prize your self out of bed to totter off to toil this morning. You have been a busy bee.

We still have a lot to do in the garden - lop a small tree and trim a hedge. The neighbour normally does the top of the hedge from our side, but didn't this year. After that there is the leaf gathering. Since its going to get colder by the end of the week, they will probably all come off shortly.

OH has done himself proud - all six landing doors and the banisters rubbed down yesterday. Only the skirting board on the stairs to be done today. :-D
Mind you, I don't think much of his version of covering everything up to protect from the dust :-0

Well am back to work tomorrow lol as today is my day off but I am being good I have got the washing in windows cleaned ,florrs also and the cupboard doors are now clear of drips and fur lol

I am hoping to have a quiet, relaxing night tonight to recover from the weekend.

Having awful trouble with lappy it decided to suddenly for no reason disconnect itself from the internet connection. It still won't connect so will have to take it back to store and see if they can sort it. :-P :-| :-| :-| :-|
