Morning all - may be the lappie has lost the router (again).

We're still without CH, so it had better not be too cold. Although we have a gas fire in the living room, the rest of the house is chilly. The building has already lost its residual heat :-(
One of the reasons for lunch out the other day was to sit in front of their log fire. I think we're getting soft in our old age.

Morning all. I sat watching footie when I got home, not that I was overly impressed :-|. Then fell asleep as it was a hectic evening. Still at least I have half term holiday to recover now :-D

Silly Billy :-D

OH is up a (step) ladder with a paint pot..........I'm keeping out of the way. Really ought to do something constructive like sort out household papers or the ironing, but really can't be asked.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 25 Oct 2012 15:58

:-D :-D. I have loads of ironing to do but not the enthusiasm. I am sitting in the office doing odd bits of paperwork and laminating a few bits for the Rainbows. Exciting :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 25 Oct 2012 16:37

If you get the Brownie bits done now, you don't have to bother about it next. :-D

Mazfromnorf Report 25 Oct 2012 17:26

I got some bargains not particularly cheap but were reduced in the sales .i have foot wear from last year I also plan to keep a bag at work when the weather really changes so if I cant get home at least i can stay over .

YG Report 25 Oct 2012 18:17

Sensible thinking, Maz. You just never know with the weather we are experiencing nowadays and particularly in your neck of the woods.

DET, I don't envy you without the CH, although I think it must be a bit milder darn sarf!! I have an awful feeling that the council will start mine whilst we are in the thick of extra cold temperatures! That's the way my luck normally runs :-D :-D

Off to get something to eat, then I'm staying put on the sofa :-D :-D

Don't you start running around again yet, LG!! Make sure you are fully recovered before you get back up to speed on that broomstick! :-D

YG I have got to be out on the Broomstick on Wednesday. Can't miss Halloween can I :-D :-D :-D :-D

Mazfromnorf

Mazfromnorf Report 26 Oct 2012 08:15

Morning all late shift today and early in the morning here so just getting my act together .Its supposed to be very cold tonight so packing gloves and scarf for later

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 26 Oct 2012 16:57

Hope the shift is a quiet one - PC has a couple of days off, although she has a 'long' day on Sunday - her choice with one part being 'Bank'. Once she'd tidied her room and put the laundry on, she was off round to the b/f's for the next 36 hours.

You're right about it being warmer darn suff, but once you are used to warmer climatic tempertures, any drop is 'cold' ;-)
I just wish the sun would shine and cheer us all up.

YG

YG Report 26 Oct 2012 18:42

Not much hope of the sun here, DET!! It is very cold.

LG, make sure you have your bloomers on when you take off on that broomstick on Wednesday.

Now the weather has turned to the other extreme, my heating is going to done during the last two weeks in November. :-D :-D Anyone want a lodger for a couple of days!! :-D

Maz, wrap up warm tonight or you will frozen extremities!! :-D
