Ha-ha! Good for your OH!!

Branson has stay around with the baby, doesn't he? It wouldn't be right if he went to Liverpool :-D :-D

I'm off to bed now, work day tomorrow. I don't know where the weekend has gone. Perhaps I blinked :-D

Morning all - glad the two of you enjoyed Downton...you'll be so looking forward to next week's, and sad that its the last episode as well.

Although we watched some of the last series, we've only watched a couple the first ones of this - OH isn't keen and it clashes with 'Andrew Marr's History of the World'. Since its not on my 'must watch' list, I haven't bothered to record it.

Might go to the hairdressers today, having asked OH if it needs cutting. He said that he hadn't really noticed as he sees me all the time. I've grown on him..like a fungus :-( :-D
He got a thump for that! :-D :-D

Morning DET. Well done for putting the cheeky beggar in his place :-D. Just been for my Doctors appointment and did not pass my MOT :-(. Basically I am k*******d :-D :-D :-D. Poor old joints

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 29 Oct 2012 09:26

Oh dear, sorry to hear that. Mind you, a lot can be done surgically now-a-days; you could turn into the Bionic Woman :-D

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 29 Oct 2012 09:29

Oh that would be great. A bionic woman with a laser on a supercharged broomstick. I could be invincible :-D

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 29 Oct 2012 09:57

:-D There'd be no stopping you!

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 29 Oct 2012 09:58

:-D :-D.Sounds good to me, do you think I could get the ironing done super quick ;-)

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 29 Oct 2012 10:04

Its a bit like the joke about someone who has had a bad accident

Dr - You'll be as good as new. You'll soon be able to play the piano
Patient - That's good. I couldn't before!

:-D

If replacement joints improve your mobility, it might make it less painful to stand and twist when you do get round to using the iron ;-)

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 29 Oct 2012 10:06

I am holding off surgery as long as possible. One day I expect I will have to have it done.

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 29 Oct 2012 10:10

If it has been suggested, why not? People a lot younger have had it done, and it has changed their lives for the better. The techinque has been around for a long time - my grandad had one done, and he died in 1983!!!!

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 29 Oct 2012 10:20

It has not been suggested to me yet by doctor. He is considering getting me on another course of physio which does help.

+++DetEcTive+++

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 29 Oct 2012 10:23

There you go then - hope you don't have to wait too long, and when you do get to the top of the list, you ask for a refresher tips of what exercises you can do at home. ;-)

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 29 Oct 2012 10:30

Well it's just a waiting game but I do still use the last lot of physio exercises I was given.

Anyway must up and away to get on with some of the dreaded. Catch you later I hope Bye for now <3
