That sounds really tasty, something we could prepare for PC to take into work. such a pity that OH woulds turn his nose up at it - he doesn't like poultry :-0

We have a pot roast tonight as its the first time we knew in advance that we'd all be around for dinner

I like the sound of the recipe and the pot roast too, DET!! My window is open if you feel like sending some over.

LG, bionic joints!! There would be no stopping you then on the broomstick. Perish the thought!! :-D :-D

Your recipe sounds like some of mine Maz. Open the cupboard and the freezer, see what falls out and throw it all in together . Most of the time it turns out edible but I have had the odd disaster

My goodness! Look who's turned up :-D :-D

What an interesting recipe - I think we might be able to get the ingredients or something similar here. Sounds like a good stand-by meal

With Halloween coming up, we'll have to get in a stock of Eye of Newts, Tongue of Toad etc. etc. LG can fan the fire under the cauldron with her broomstick to get the fire going ;-)

RockyMountainShy

RockyMountainShy Report 30 Oct 2012 04:17

* Oh dear! What can't they get? Sugar - No I'm sure that is available, Cinnamon - No, Vanilla pudding - hmmmmm maybe, butter - No. Must be the pudding*

Drat - forgot about the time difference, drat. :-|

Mazfromnorf Report 30 Oct 2012 07:30

Custard has a slightly different taste but it should still work :-D

Soooooo, Hallowe'en is celebrated over there is it? MAybe not as much because of Nov. 5, but it is good to know.

Good to see that you are still hopping around with Froggy.

Halloween? Well, it probably depends on where you live - down south it seems to be a relatively 'new' tradition...........from childhood experience at least. There is an awful lot of 'stuff' in the shops, being another means of parting consumers from their money.

Some years we might get a one or two trick-or-treaters, other years none at all. Mind you, although it is a residential area, there are no street lights, and only a couple of families with children in the immediate vicinity.

On a separate note..............our CH is fixed. Bliss! :-D :-D
They're going to send the bill which will probably be a :-(

YG Report 30 Oct 2012 18:32

We have Halloween on 31st October when all the ghosts, witches and ghouls come out. LG should be busy revving up her broomstick!! :-D :-D

Trick or treat (caught on from the US) is the equivalent of our Mischief Night, isn't it?? That is on 4th November as far as I know.

Welcome back, RMS. The recipe looks pretty good to me!!

Pleased to hear that the heating is fixed, DET.
