I am tired just thinking about that lot :-D.

Someone has to do it!! And as there is only me, I know whose head it is going to land on :-D :-D

I should get a definite date over the next few days for the heating. About 3 weeks, so I will be taking a week or so off then. There won't be much rest though, but at least I won't be at work :-) :-)

I need to be getting on with loads of decorating etc around the house but still have not got my mojo back after that virus :-(. I had both mini Gooners this morning and I have still not recovered :-D :-D :-D

Then just take your time, LG, otherwise you will be knocked back again. One of my young colleagues has just been off for more than a week with some nasty bug. I hope she is fully recovered when she comes back. I am at the hospital again on Wednesday for my second injection, so I don't want to be going down with anything :-( :-(

Morning all, grey and damp here.

Don't know about damp; more like drenched! The rain on the windows woke me up during the night, and its no better now. The trees are thrashing around in the wind, hopefully we won't have any fallen branches :-(

It wasn't a good forecast for darn sarf, so they must have been right for once! I hope there is no damage around you, DET. Stay safe.

Morning YG - the front seems to have passed over now, but my goodness, I wouldn't have wanted to be out in it earlier!

Well done with the decorating - OH will probably finish off the woodwork today, then next week we'll be picking out a carpet and then deciding on the colour for the walls. We've had the stair carpet for about 20 years and the foam underside has disintergrated into dust. Time for it to go. :-0

Lunchtime break and chance to give my back a rest, if only for a short while!

I want to get the larder cupboard and the skirting board painted so that I can get the fridge back in place. The rest of the sanding and painting will have to wait until next weekend. I will need to clear up. It is ok using an electric sander, but it gets everywhere. Bath required later!! :-D :-D

evening all, its bitterly cold going to freeze again in fact the screens are freezing on the cars .

It's cold here too Maz. I've dug the de-icer and a scraper out of the shed whilst putting some other things away, ready for tomorrow morning. I'll have to get up another ten minutes earlier now to warm the car up. :-P :-P

I have done much more than I intended and just sat down to wait for dinner to cook. Nothing elaborate, just a cornish pasty and chips tonight. I'm too tired to bother with anything else, but I might just have some apple pie :-D :-D
