I've been naughty tonight because my friend's Mum sent some baking back with her for me. A little fruit cake and some delicious buns :-) :-) I will have to eke it out and eat a bit at a time >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> says me who has just demolished a quarter of the cake and a bun :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Oooo send me some over. I have not done any baking yet this week maybe do some Friday when I have the smallest here :-D

I don't bake now and haven't done for a long time. I would have to eat it if I made it and I'm not supposed to :-( :-(

The plasterers coming on the 30th asked me if it was going to be a baking day! I will make sure there are cakes as I need to sweet talk them into repairing the front step, but the cakes won't be homemade, I'm afraid :-D :-D :-D

Pleased to hear all was well with your check up Maz.

One of my colleagues was in a panic this morning because she found a couple of lumps. She managed to get an emergency appointment at the drs when she told them what was wrong. All is well, to a point, as he has told her they are cysts, but she has to have an operation to remove them, so is being referred to a consultant. I have told her to go privately and claim it back through our health protection policy at work, so she may get an appointment for next week.

I had a visit from the liaison officer today and it is all go for the heating to be done on 3rd December. I have also managed to find someone free to do the decorating in the lounge for me, as most are booked up prior to Christmas. I know it will cost, but I couldn't tackle putting on new wallpaper myself, so more expense. Luckily the council do contribute towards the cost, however meagre that is. As T**co says, every little helps!! :-D :-D

is that wot the problem is my pc keeps dropping out here but the fruity one is playing games at the moment as that fast broad band is out now

I dunno Maz. OH said I had too many windows open, but there were less than usual. :-( Anyway, its good to hear that you have a clean bill of health.

3rd Dec? Not long to wait now :-D :-D Did they say how long it would take? Don't blame you paying someone to decorate...you'll probably get yours down before we do ours!

Hope your collegue has been reassured after seeing the GP. It must have been a terrible worry. An operation probably isn't something she'd fancy before you-know-when, but at least it wouldn't be hanging over her.

The heating will be completed on the 3rd and operational overnight on a 'on' or 'off' only basis. The electrician will come on 4th to complete that work, the plasterer on the 5th to fix the wall where the fireplace is taken out and last of all, the new fire to be fitted on the 5th. I also have the plasterers coming on 30th November to repair a damp patch in the bedroom and hall and the joiner to start the internal doors and fit new glass panel in the kitchen!!

Phew!!! I'm out of breath now!! And I'm supposed to be on holiday that week :-D :-D :-D
