morning all
just waiting for a gas fitter to look at the boiler again .The boiler was an existing one when the refurb was done ,however apparently this particular make is known for problems but as it was done with a grant beggars could not be choosers .so i may have to bite the bullet and look at a new boiler but we will see .It is working but losing pressure so either there is a leak some where or its the pressure mechanisms

We have that problem with ours Maz there is a leak in the system somewhere but they can't track it down. This system has been hopeless since the day they put it in.

that sounds hopeful then does it not LG It means that i cant have the boiler much now so put a jumper on lol

Morning Maz. It works perfectly for a while then it starts making horrible knocking noises and does not get too hot. Fortunately our is a Housing Association house. So on the phone I go and say it's me again usual problem. I am sure they know me personally in the office :-D I am probably on their Xmas card list ;-) :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Sorry LG - I thought today was going to be Friday, not Thursday! Not sure what caused that. Old age??

Gas fitter has isolated the boiler for a while or similar going to pop back before making a diagnosis lol later so no hot water or heating at the moment

Thank goodness we have back up systems - electric emersion heater, and Gas + free standing electric fires.

Hope he can sort it out for you quickly and cheaply

still none the wiser the guage was the wrong way round and would get stuck so maybe that simple .
so again we monitor the system there is no leak in any area so will see what happens it may just be its not on enough he says .

And once the gas fire has gone I have no back up heating. Oh joy. We have power cuts here once in a while, so that will be fun.

Phew i am here got the cleaning cupboard bug as i am shopping later A will meet me so thought i would see what was in the back of the cupboard and thinking about christmas too .i was pleased i did it too as i have found more space and moved stuff i dont use very often up higher
