Morning all, dull and grey here at the moment. Off out as soon as OH is ready. I have been up and done loads of the little chores that got put off yesterday.

Fur doesn't understand the meaning of Saturdays and Sundays, DET!! I could have crucified him when he started meowing at 5.50am!! The intention was to go back to bed, but that very rarely happens.

I had someone coming to pick up a bookcase and didn't know what time, so decided I needed to be presentable! :-D :-D

Did the washing and hung it out but it is a horrible murky misty day and I have now given up and brought it indoors!

I have to go out to do food shopping and then give myself a sauna whilst steaming wallpaper off. A lovely Saturday all in all!! :-D :-D

Has YG got tangled up in soggy wall paper do you think? At least the steam will have opened up the pores ;-)

We think we've chosen a carpet, but will ask for delivery in January; it'll take us that long to sort out paint and how to apply it to the 'long drop' :-( :-(

Yes, I have managed to get some of the paper stripping done, albeit that it was a much later start than I expected. Plenty left to do tomorrow and some sanding too if I have time and the stamina.

lol, LG, I didn't wear my specs to strip the paper!! I can just about see it without :-D :-D

My distance is pretty decent. My near sight is not good! But at least the wrinkles don't look as bad when I'm applying makeup :-D :-D :-D :-D

:-D :-D. YG both distance and near sight are awful and as for wrinkles , the only thing that would get mine sorted is a good dollop of Polyfilla ;-) :-D :-D

Morning all one shift a sleep finish on mon morning then i am off Froggy is here so we are doing chores and time out too have got a cough which is the reason i am up now though lol its easier to stay up than try and settle again

Morning All - sorry to hear you're under the weather, and hope it clears in time for your break. Are you going away, or just doing things in the area?

OH is poorly - he has a swelling on his jaw line, which we think could be an abcess. Typical that it has happened at the weekend when the dentists are closed, and I'm working most of Monday morning so can't phone then. He'll probably need antibiotics to clear the infection before they can tackle the cause.

The greenhouse has blown over again, and its too windy to clear up the leaves. :-0
