Morning all .

Glad to hear that Maz' curtains are now fixed; you should be less 'enthusiastic' when entertaining Frog. You're no spring chickens, you know ;-) :-D

Ah, bless. That little girl is quite deep but caring. It does suggest that there might be something going on in the family though.....perhaps her elder sister and pre-teen angst??

For some reason, PC thinks our living area is much tidier than that of her friends. Got no idea where she got that, unless our clutter is spread over a wider area? Just don't open a cupboard!!!
Mother-in-law is v houseproud. Eldest was the 1st grandchild, who she used to make sit on a sheet in the middle of the floor to eat a biscuit. Strange she didn't bother when sister-in-law's children got to the same stage!

We were given good advice by a freind when we first set up home together. Visitors come to see us, not a spotless and tidy house....not that it stops us rushing around like loons in advance of a pre-planned visit. :-) :-)

A house that is lived in and loved can never be over tidy ,at least ,that's what me old mum used to say bless her ,and i have to agree ,anyone who visits our pad ,has to take it as it comes ,clean ,but never really tidy :-D ,Fred.

YG Report 14 Apr 2012 22:59

No, I don't blame you, LG. I wish my dil thought the same way, but she treats the house like a doll's house! :-D

I have just let Duffy out for his evening constitutional and am finishing my cuppa, so will be off to bed shortly.

Sleep well and I'll be around tomorrow. <3 <3

Our house is always a tip when they have been around, but we would not have it any other way. :-D :-D

YG Report 14 Apr 2012 22:34

I don't suppose there are many of them around LG, but thanks for offering to look. :-) :-) :-)

Dont' they build up a load of toys over time. I am sure my two have enough to stock a toy shop, but mother never allows anything to be left out!! You wouldn't know there were children in the house if you didn't actually see them. Mind you, they have just come back off holiday and been out for haircuts and to see their nana today, so I don't suppose the little one has had time to make a mess! :-D

Awww bless little one. I will look out for a red card for her as I get them for mini Gooners but they are not collecting the set. She sounds like a caring little soul :-D. I popped over to H today for a quick visit and ended up about 3 hours there helping turn out the playroom, goodness what a long job :-D

I'm ok, LG. Been hanging around today waiting for the annual gas inspection to be carried out. He eventually arrived at 2.15, so I was late getting the shopping done today. Had to go to son's to take Easter Eggs, as they only got back from hols last night, and what was going to be a quick cuppa and back home turned into a two hour visit. I finished up getting fish'n'chips, as it was gone 7pm when I left his house!

Little one wanted to hold a 'meeting' with me, upstairs in her bedroom, as it had to be in private and we had to have two chairs facing each other! I was then quizzed about which stores I go to, and whether it would be possible for me to get the special 'red' disney card that she needs to complete her set and win a prize (they are only available from Morri***s and I don't shop there!! I was then summoned to a second meeting and asked if I could stop anyone that was unhappy and ask them what I could do to help them!! All that from a six year old. :-D :-D

BM is in Edinburgh at the moment; he texted to say there was some crazy woman hanging from the Castle flag pole screaming about Black Cats, Broomsticks and Pink Custard. The Scottish Highland regiment weren't sure whether to shoot her as a terrorists, knock her off with a water cannon or get a hostage negotiator to talk her down - lol

Morning all - hope you enjoyed the time with littlies yesterday LG, the hair was sorted out YG and the shopping for pressies sorted today Maz.

We went to the BBC Good Food show at our new local exhibition centre. Half price tickets from Groupon, but they didn't include entry to the cooking demos. Never mind - there were enough free samples of food to save on cooking in the evening, and drink for OH to decide he was tipsy - lol Unfortunately, the wine they were promoting cost over £10 per bottle and they would only sell by the case or half case. We did however buy one bottle of Chocolate flavoured wine for festive occassions...and it will keep up to 3 months in the fridge once opened :-D

Noooooooooooo!!! I am not sharing firemen under any circumstances!! I'm sorry, Maz, but you are just going to have to stay up there until we find another method of rescuing you!

Once you are back down, you can have LG's red & white throne for one week's respite!! ;-) ;-) ;-) :-D :-D
