Morning all well the white stuff has nearly gone its very cold but sunny i am doing the washing though and also hoping to get my hair cut today .got a fair ammount to do Froggy is heading this way after work as we have an early start in the morning ,I have to popo over the shop my corner shop has an A and D in it very handy and good quality

T'was a bit chilly this morning, during a dressing gown forray to the dustbin. Time to shall wrap up warm to plant up the seeds. I'd much rather stay on the PC today. You could bet your last penny that OH will pinch it as soon as I disappear :-0

Try resetting your GR bookmarks LG. When they did a major fiddle a week or so ago, there was some suggestion that entry by old predicting 'cookies' may be causing a problem.

Type out the site name in full, then selet the GR from the results. Your lappie will soon learn the new link.

OH pinched the PC for most of the day - then evening meal, phone calls and before you know it's past 11 pm!

We had a spit or two of rain, but nothing to write home about, and its not especially windy. Maz ought to be able to get to Whitby at the end of the week, although it might be a bit soggy. :-( There is deffinately a north/south divide going on.

Eldest was talking to her California friends. Apparently N CA get their drinking water from the Sierra Nevada snow melt. Normally the Lake Tahoe gets about 3ft or more snow over winter. This year they have had none and 2 of the skiing companies have gone out of business. There is going to be a severe drought this year.

PS - OH didn't make it out of the house in time for his cooked breakfast menu. Sigh.

Well, where is everyone hiding!!

I think I will chance settling down on the throne for a comfy night's sleep. DET may be lurking though after the witching hour!! :-D

Evening all from a freezing cold Yorkshire!! Although it is better than it was this morning. A bad night with the wind howling and snow this morning, but it hasn't settled. It's finally stopped raining, but the wind is blowing down the chimney and rattling behind the gas fire! :-P

I don't normally mind cold weather too much, but the wind has certainly taken a few degrees off the temperature! :-P

Morning all, dull,grey and damp here. I have a day in today doing the chores ready for the weekend invasion ;-).

Look on the bright side - it supposed to warm up by Friday so you ought to be able to get out into the garden. The time will give you the opportunity to recover. ;-)

Fred brought home a heavy cold from Wiltshire ,and has been up most of the night listening to the wind howling outside ,and watching the snow .

Actually, it must have rained overnight as the ground is wet, but its blue skies again with a few high clouds. I think I'l risk the washing on the line.

OH said he fancied going shopping early enough to catch the breakfast menu - Ha, ha, ha, ha. He'd probably roll over and go back to sleep if woken in time.

It's supposed to be getting milder again from Thursday, but changeable, so some showers. Personally, I would like to see some more rain for the garden and the reservoirs, but during the night and on work days would be best :-D :-D

its amazing the difference ,the weather is strange even sunday it was warm .I am on a late tomorrow so i hope its all gone by then

Evening Maz. It's cold and horrible here with rain all day, but no snow yet. I've watching the news and seeing the weather in Scotland. Amazing, the difference between last week and now :-D
