I'm having the same problem with 'My Threads', DET. They don't remove after deleting my posts. Oh well, I haven't got many on there anyway, so I suppose it's no big deal, but it would be nice if everything worked for once!! My automatic log in wasn't working tonight!

Well done to BM's g/f finding a job! And at last Maz has hopefully sorted out her internet. Fingers crossed! :-D :-D

Has LG exhausted herself with the littlies today, I wonder and where is Aunty!!!! She is neglecting us badly at the moment! :-( :-(

We’ve just had a funny five minutes, or rather 30. Someone on freecycle was asking for an Xbox for a project, and accepted BM old one even though it doesn’t work. As he didn’t drive, would we deliver? A lady mid 30’s answered the door, and called for *. A really young voice answered and a 12 year old appeared. A quick quiz of mum found that she knew all about it, and it was going to be a project for him to do with his father. Phew!

On the way home, a cyclist coming in the other direction was knocked off by a car. Because I shouted, OH thought he had done something wrong. It seemed as if the cyclist was OK although his bike was a bit banged up; the passing car approaching the roundabout probably caught him a glancing blow.

hi I wish there was away you could delete all the posts from a thread in one go as it takes ages to do it unless there is lol

The site has gone a bit bonkers, that is true. GR replied to my Pm re the ghost appearance in 'my threads'

If you have added to a post on the message boards and then you delete it after, you will still have it listed under My threads.

I have reported this to our technical team as I agree, that when you delete yourself off a thread this should then be removed from your My Thread.

I hope this helps and please tell us if you need any further assistance.

Greetings Fred. Your grandson is a lucky young man to have you looking out for him! PC has told us that one of the local supermarkets has run out of petrol, but as it happens, she has a full tank. Mind you, she has agreed to make an airport run to LHR next week to collect her b/f's mother. We seem to think that when there was the strike a number of years ago, that NHS employees were considered key workers and had priority. If it comes to it, we are hoping that even as a lowly HCA, she will be covered. OH has dragged out the empty 1/2 Jerry can from the shed and has told her to fill it up next time she needs some.

My car advert should appear in this week's paper. Fingers crossed that someone is interested; the insurance is due for renewal on 21 April, which is one reason for the timing.

BM's g/f has got a new job, starting in September! She applied for a Teacher's position, and was offered head of faculty :-D
Its a private school in London. All they need to do now, is find somewhere to live together.

The weather is lovely I was working yesterday and I am in at the weekend ,Today I am off and have th eshopping to do plus an errand to do
I have been assured lol !!!!! that my internet has been finally recalibrated on line and they are going to ring tonight to see how its going .I have to stay switched on for ten days no reset if it fluctuates at all
Froggy says go with this for th emoment then get some free months etc and then look around for a good provider

Morning all ,sorry to be a tad lax with the visits ,but i have my grandson up on holiday until Monday next ,and seeing that he has just returned after a 6 month stint in Afghanistan we are a little busy.
We had to go down to Lyneham last week ,open the house up for him coming back ,pick him up ,and help him organize the move to Brize Norton for early April .
He came back up with us to buy his new car because they are a lot cheaper up here than the south of England
Just brought him a lovely Toyota Celicia ,80,000 miles on the clock with a full service history ,just in time to get it filled up before the panic buying started ,lol.
It's now in my drive ,tank full ,ready for him to go back down ,just as well too ,according to His mates on camp ,there is no fuel to be had down there at all.
Just as well he has a bike to get onto camp with it's a long two mile walk over the airfield to get to his unit .
Fred is off out back now to do some work ,catch you later guys and ladies ,Fred :-)

Evening YG - I've been working all day, and have had to sit with my feet up. Poor ankles had gone puffy with all the standing.
Faculties ought to be banned from orgainsing whole year-in-one-venue progress tests, then expecting outsiders to supervise. Chaos! Only one copy of the seating plan, students hadn't realised that they were sat in different places for each core subject. And different level papers for different students. Hopeless :-|
