evening I has been busy bee the engineer has not been here yet but he is expected tomorrow ,my freezer has arrived and is plugged in so i am going to fill it shortly as it has been on ages now .
My internet is very intermittent Froggy was here so we had a lovely lunch out but have been doing odd jobs here .

Evening all from a beautiful, warm, sunny Yorkshire.

I've been to a friend's funeral today, so not the best last day of the holidays, but at least it was a lovely day weatherwise.

I think I chose my holiday dates well this time!! Every day has been nice, although some mornings there has been a heavy mist that has taken a while to shift.

My naked gardener called this morning to talk about laying a small patio, DET, so great minds think alike :-D :-D I have to buy a new shed first and have it in place before we start redesigning the remainder. I am going for a smaller one (I think!)and he is going to do the patio in mid summer.

Back to the grind tomorrow with a full inbox of e-mails and goodness knows what else. I am thrilled >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> NOT!! :-P :-P :-P

Enjoy your last day of freedom YG. At least it will be dry. Don't you think that you need another holiday as soon as you get back to work, simply because there is so much to catch up on?

I'm 'home alone' all day :-D OH is at work and PC at Uni. I rather suspect I'll end up having to collect her from the station. That's usually OH's job.

I need to have a nag at him about paving a seating area, now you've mentioned it. As the grass under where we put the patio table always dies, we may as well lay slabs and be done with it. PC's b/f says he'll help. We thought we'd wait until the spring so the winter wet would soften the ground, but it is still rock solid. Do you think we could use the hosepipe as it is a 'building project'? ;-)
