What meteor? First we heard about it was this morning, so didn't even have a chance to see if it was cloudy last night :-(

Anyway, I've been mending, and turning up trousers, whilst making suitable noises so OH thought I was watching the France/Ireland RU game with him.
My turn to cook.

Back later, maybe.

Afternoon everyone.

Well done Aunty, for completing the walk. We can't have you looking to syplh-like cos we'll only be jealous!!

Where is everyone? Have you all gone in search of the meteor that went flying past last night!! :-D Or perhaps it was a UFO and you have all been beamed up!! :-D :-D :-D :-D

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 4 Mar 2012 11:45

Well done Aunty! Perhaps we will see you featured in the next Olympics :-D Not a bad idea to let someone else cater the evening meal after your tiring weekend.

You've done very well so far with your weight loss. And stop trying to emulate the stick thin models. At the age of 35 (snigger) you have little chance of looling like them; its metabolism, bone stucture, and collagen you have to deal with. Heroin chich (sp?) is soo last season. ;-)

Hi I am returned from my walk by the seaside and my family evening meal. Exhausted. Managed to take another 5 minutes off my last personal best time set about October last year. Had a look at some photos of some of the events I have been in. Definitely not slim, thin or slender enough yet. More effort needed.

Had evening meal with sons, daughter, respective spouses, potential spouses, grand children etc etc. Us oldies ate our meal and left the young ones to work out their plans for the evening. Nice to be able to go home and put the feet up.

Good morning everyone. My, aren't we sleepy heads??

The carving knife has been given to the itinerant knife grinder, so that it is nice and sharp for the next person who uses it. Does this mean that Puss is planning roast lamb to cook up for our lunch today, while Maz is away with the leeks and daffodils? Yum Yum! Never tried it with Bay leaf; its normally rosemary in this household ;-)

I am feeling totally bereft tonight!! Poor little thread down in the bowels of page 3!!

Oh well, I will have to resort to putting the feet up and watching tv!!

We have stalls coming up at the Jubilee celebrations. We try to have stalls at all the village celebrations ie the church and school christmas fair.

£50-£100 for children and/or parents is possible, especially if the entertainment is 'in house', so to speak. ;-)

You could see about getting a stall at a church/community fete or whatever, and sell their old toys? But then, may be you have sorted out the finance already.

Ah, the adrenaline rush has disipated. Hope the disco raised lots of money. That's something you could consider for your GD funding, to cover the holidays when the little dears aren't around to cough up!

I was assisting with a charity disco. Feeling very weary this morning but it was great fun.

Hee hee YG! Weren't you going to think about cutting down your hours, or do you need to slave away to keep the naked Gardener coming to visit :-D

Ooo - lovely bacon and mushrooms....and tiolet paper is good instead of handkies. Are you insinuating that the cooking will give you indigestion??? :-)

Off to bed shortly - night night to any lurkers.

Evening Puss. That sounds like a good mix of items!!

DET, I have had a look at U3A!! There is one in Doncaster and it might keep me amused when I eventually am allowed the luxury of retirement!! I have to confess though that I did not know what you were referring to until I went on google! :-D
